chris27292729: All the land belonged to the Arabs at the time, the Brits had no right to give away a portion of Arab land to the Jews.-
still ignorant to the Facts, are you?Or are you obfuscating on purpose? And your Puking will only dehydrate you in this weather! Actually it was a Mandate, not belonging to the Arabs or Jews! Designated to be a Jewish Homeland! Arabs got the biggest part in Cis-Jordan! But if you acknowledged that Fact, all your argument would fall in the water! Like I said before, you lot is woefully ignorant of the History of the Place!
The language of that article is inflammatory and obviously written from a very pro-Israeli point of view ... we can all find such articles from either sides point of view ... pointless posting them ..history is always written by the victor ... or those with control of the media.

Red-Eyed Residents in Southern Israel Resume Routine
The next day: Red-eyed southern Israelis tried to resume their normal daily routines following a night of Gaza missile and mortar attacks.

The morning after a night of rocket and mortar attacks in southern Israel, red-eyed Israelis in southern Israel tried to resume their daily routines.
In many cases it was a difficult challenge, especially in Be'er Sheva, where near-constant air raid alerts kept residents racing for cover for most of the night.
“Don't ask me to perform brain surgery today!' wrote Bracha G., a local resident, on her Facebook page.
Goldman described how Israelis responded to the first of two Grad Katyusha attacks Wednesday evening in the city known as the “capital” of Israel's southern region, home to some 200,000 people.
“We were on the train on the way home from a lovely evening... imagine, the train the stops, the announcement of a siren, and we all lie down on the floor of the train,” she wrote.
“This is madness – why are we not responding more vigorously, and wiping out this terrorist regime once and for all?”
It's a question many are asking in the strong light of day after a 9-month-old baby and a second Israeli, an adult, were wounded during last night's attacks on the Ashkelon area.
A total of 16 rockets and mortars rained down on southern Israel, striking communities all over the region, from the Eshkol Regional Council district, to Ofakim, Ashkelon, Netivot, Be'er Sheva and elsewhere in the western Negev.
“We are not responding because our government is afraid of what the world will say,” wrote another Facebook member. “Who cares if citizens are being terrified. “My daughter is in Soroka and she told me that the sirens and booms woke up all the babies and there was madness on the ward.”
Rabbi Lazer Brody of the Breslov Chassidic movement commented in an article published Sunday entitled “Ceasefire with Hamastan” that eight missiles were fired at Israel almost immediately following the so-called 'ceasefire' announced by the Hamas terrorist rulers of Gaza.
“No, you can't understand the Middle East,” Brody wrote. “The dirtiest Western street fight with chains and broken bottles is Romper Room by Gazan standards... If Israel fails to react appropriately, the Arabs will see us as paper tigers. If we do, then the magpies of the world will have excuse to regurgitate their not-so-latent hate for Jews and the Jewish nation... We've restrained ourselves enough.”
Brody advised praying, placing the trust of the nation in the One Above, “revving up the tanks,” and “moving heavy artillery into position.”
the fact that British Officers were resigning their Commissions and signed on and led the Arab Legion!
Too many Lowrence of Arabia, unfortunatelly did not succeded to get the whole Palestine for the Arabs. If they had, we wouldn't debated now,the right of Israel to be, where it is today.-
Israelis braced for another night of terror in the south Thursday August 25 after a day of sporadic rocket fire, while the IDF made preparations to once again foil terrorist efforts as they launch the attacks.
Few residents of the western Negev slept with any ease Wednesday night due to regular interruptions by the Color Red air raid alert system.
At least 21 rockets and mortars exploded in southern Israel Wednesday evening. Among the wounded were a 9-month-old baby and an adult.
Dozens of terrified Israelis also suffered from trauma and severe anxiety, some with poor health exacerbated by the extra stress.
Shortly after midnight a Grad Katyusha missile was safely neutralized by the Iron Dome anti-missile system in Be'er Sheva. The life-saving rescue came after residents in the surrounding communities of Rahat, Lehavim and Meitar were awakened by the air raid sirens warning them to head to the bomb shelters.
Two short-range Kassam rockets exploded in the Gaza Belt community of Sderot at about 3:00 a.m., both landing in open areas. No damage or physical injuries were reported.
Residents in the coastal city of Ashkelon reported hearing a “loud explosion” at about 5:30 a.m. after having been sent by the air raid siren to the bomb shelters. It was not clear whether the expected medium-range Grad Katyusha missile had landed in an open area, or instead had been intercepted and neutralized by the Iron Dome anti-missile system.
But even Gaza terrorists have to sleep and take a break sometime. There were no attacks reported till around midday, when the Iron Dome system was deployed. Military sources gave no specific information about location.
At about 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon a rocket attack was launched at the Sdot Negev Regional Council district. One of the short-range Kassam rockets damaged a power cable in the area, but no physical injuries were reported in the attack.
The Color Red air raid alert siren was heard in the Nahal Oz and Kfar Aza communities.
Southern Israeli residents have been warned by Home Front Command to stay near their safe spaces and bomb shelters. In addition, the IDF issued orders to limit gatherings to no more than 500 participants due to the security situation. It is also no longer permissible to hold classes in structures that are not fortified, military officials said.
