I didnt really know whether to get involved in this or not but I thought Id post this anyway...its the first part of the Ross Kemp in the Middle East series...whatever the rights and the wrongs of this conflict....and I dont think anyone is ever 100% right and the other 100% wrong...you'd need to have a heart of stone not to feel heartbroken for those innocent Palestinian folks....
Haven't looked at the Link, did you! Would shoot your Theory out of the Water again!
HAMAS is the Government, and therefore responsible what goes on there!
So just because HAMAS says it did not fire those Rockets,Israel is supposed to do nothing! Sad Paldi,Sad! You really need to hide it better,or be up-Front about it!
Hamas is the government in Siani? I don't think so buddy. Go look at a map. That part of the world is Egytian. If we follow your logic, bombs would be dropping on the Aswan dam.
Paldi5: Thanks for the implied compliment. My logic, if correct, is what it is. Israel over reacts and is disproportionate in their reaction. And you wonder why people hate them...
The Israel attack on Gaza was not a reaction to a few rockets fired into Israel. The rocket massive firing of 100 plus rockets was a reaction to Israels attack on Gaza.
as usual you're implying that another Poster has agreed with you, when there isn't any evidence at all! Stop your Phantasmagoria,Mister!
You mean, you hate them, and desperately look for a Justification, and if you can't find one,you hurry make one up,as in this Case again! You're soooooo transparent,Paldi!

I will post part II when I have had time to rewatch it Wow....but for the record, as a neutral, I know where I'd rather live.
Yes Crystal - the Palestinians are the victims of their terrorist government and all the terrorist factions, but also if you see Palestinians television for children, and also go to Palestinian schools they teach that being a martyr to jihad and killing Jews is something to aim for.

Ah, how many times Paldi. Hamas fires rockets at schools, homes, hosptials, nurseries. Israel pin-points aerial targets where the rockets are coming from and bombs those targets. If you feel that is disproportionate you certainly are unable to understand that very simple fact. You do get confused unfortunately.

Putting more words in People's mouths, are you! The only one believing HAMAS is the Egypt Government is you!
It is really sad you know so little about that Part of the World.

But Wow surely you cant blame all of their suffering at the hands of their (democratically elected) (terrorist) government....those people have nothing..absolutely zilch..no food, no jobs, no homes...and if you as a child saw your Mother brains blown out in front of your eyes...wouldnt it warp your oulook on life...we need people to sit around the table with both sides, naive as it seems and I fear its gone too far, and talk talk talk...you can never do enough talking/negotiating....otherwise this situation will just get uglier and uglier...the whole situation is very depressing.

What do you expect when their own people use them as a Shield?

It is sad. The Hamas government are corrupt. The Gazas are not starving though - they have everything they need and more. They have all food, medicines, medical equipment, electrical goods, utilities, etc. They live mostly in apartment blocks - it may not seem a home to us, but that is the way of that part of the world. They are not starving - there is no seige - and if you want me to prove it, just ask me on this thread and I will.
The Hamas has still not changed its Charter to destroy Israel and even to today they are doing their best to do so, going against the Geneva Convention rules by firing Grads and Katushas into civilian areas.
The situation there is dire.
Welcome by the way Crystal, nice to see you here. If you have any questions about the situation please ask.

Thanks Wow...but from the video I just rewatched that seems to differ drastically from what you are saying....and are the Gazas not receiving everything they need from the UN?....anyway I am not an expert on the matter, obviously, but I would hope that I could believe what the BBC/ITV have filmed...why would they be pro Palestine and anti Israel...I dont wish to get into an argument with you or that silly old man who just responded to my posts in his usual negative and bullying way...I would just like to see peace on both sides.

cheers...I have nothing else to say.
Ok, cheers, but I will post the clips later for others to see because it seems to me people are totally clueless on the situation in Gaza, Israel and Judea and Samaria.
"There is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza." So states categorically Mathilde Redmatn, the deputy director of the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip.
"If you go to the supermarket, there are products,” she said, as reported on the IDF website. “There are restaurants and a nice beach. The problem is mainly in maintenance of infrastructure and in access to certain goods such as concrete. Israel has the legitimate right to protect civilian population, this right should be balanced with the right of 1.5 million people living in the Gaza Strip.”
She acknowledged that Israel has eased its closure on Gaza and has partially lifted export bans.
"Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip is against international law because it is directed at civilians," the Red Cross official said. "We conduct confidential or bilateral dialogue with Hamas on the matter. As time passes, the dialogue also develops."
She said that the Red Cross has also asked to meet with captive soldier Gilad Shalit: "When a person's freedom is taken away, he deserves at least contact with his family. We will continue to ask but we do not have the capability to force anything on Hamas. Hamas' refusal is based on security reasons. Hamas is afraid of the IDF's advanced technological capabilities and believes that allowing contact will lead to the location of Gilad."
Albertaghost: Quite similar to you not answering my posts (194 and 206). Typical. When fact meets opinion, opinion falls flat on it's face.
How so? It was pointed out that three of the posters from your country were rabid Israel haters with two of them adocating the deaths of millions of people. Sensing a possible geographical connection I posted a survey.
That was it. end of story until you and your sock puppet decided to make it the entire thread and here we are, nine pages later discussing it.
Fact is, a disproportionate number of Irish are anti Israeli. Numbers from your own country concur with this as do the disproportionate number of rabid anti Israel posts from posters from Ireland here. Argue with those facts but certainly, don't blame the messenger. Anti Palestinian? I see a couple of silly posts from individuals but certainly no overriding theme that Palestinians are bad or evil people but rather, their governments are to blame for much of their difficulties. Your stick is certainly not about having an adult discussion as I am still waiting for you to calm down and address some points with facts and logic.
Did I not explain to you that I didn't want to have discourse with someone as prejudiced and blinkered as yourself. There really is no need to keep disecting my posts.
Rejection hurts but I'm sure you are used to it...........
My post was directed to someone else..........Get over it
Sappers who checked the components of one of the mortar shells that landed close to Kibbutz Kerem Shalom discovered that it contained phosphorus, according to a Sunday evening report by Channel 2 television.
The use of the substance in missiles is illegal under international law. Gaza sources often accuse Israel of using weapons containing the banned substance.
