Wow_Factor: But Judea and Samaria belongs to Israel - why should they give it away.
You seem to be confused about it all.
Judea is the Roman name for the area of Judah. It's the only area the Jews ever held in ancient times. And no, the Jews don't "own" it now. Most of what used to be Judea was in the Palestinian sector according to the UN ceasefire agreement in 1948. But the Jews seized and occupied it in subsequent wars. Occupation does not equal "ownership".
As for Samaria, it was never, not even in ancient times a Jewish area. Of the initial 13 tribes that came to Canaan 10 tribes split away to form the kingdom of Israel (not Jewish at all). The capital of Israel was Samaria. The Israelites were very often at war with the Jews of Judah.
Then the Israelites got forcibly evacuated by the Assyrians. That left only the 3 tribes of the kingdom of Judah (the Jews). A few years later the Jews got carried away captive to Babylon.
Later some Jews came back to Judea (the Roman name for the area of Judah). But they never occupied or owned Samaria.
The Jews despised the Samaritans and considered them to be pagans. And the feeling was mutual.
Samaria is part of the West Bank and is recognized by all the world as Palestinian territory.

I'm certainly not. As we know, Jews are from the area that Israel now occupies be they former owners of all the land or simply residing on it they are from there, hence, it is their historical home.
You spoke of the Twelve tribes, or, the Israelites, ancestors of today's Jews.

That land belongs to Israel legally beacuse the UN decided that was the case. Arabs would argue who were the UN to make such a decision and displace The Palestinian people so Jewish people could settle there.
anonymous1: Muslems attacked the twin towers in NY. Nothing but civilians. No military or government officials. They targeted workers, women and children so they acted the same hateful, cowardly way as religions of the past. quote]
Conrad73: yet you totally agree to slice 80% off the Mandate to create Jordan?
In the end of the Ottomans colapse, the land belonged to the Arabs, occupiers from time immemorial, and continuously the last 2000 years.Thats what the Arabs dispute, all land was theirs, not to be given away to Neocolonialism.

So why didn't they accept it when a large portion was offered to them? They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

Wow_Factor: Umm it could be because it was around a holy time of year for Jews who often take that time off for vacation.
Oooh a thumbs down. Well what a surprise. I tell the truth and so do others and get thumbs down for it. How about disputing my statement rather than hiding.
