ttom500: Let us put some CS prestige on the line. If I am right for the reason sited in the earlier post that Putin sent them for Russian pilots to fly in Syria.....you can to me in the future.

If I am wrong....and the smart play for Putin is to stop and return the ship to Russia . I will to you in the future.

Fair enough?

But think it thru.

Any ship owner that would list MIL Helo on his insurance forms....has already gotten his foreign export license from the Kremlin. He crossed his Is and Ts enough to get commercial insurance. In the coming civil trial Russia because he going sue the Kremlin because they had turn around costing him millions....the ship owner will show those foreign export document signed off by the Kremlin.

So they way I see it. Mr. Putin is caught between a rock and hard place here.

But there is a third option.....

The Russian ship owner turns up the victim of highly radioactive Russian nuclear isotope from eating a meal in local Moscow restraunt....habitted by former Russian KGB agents.....

So the Russian ship owner might wish to leave the country soon....

I sure hope the Russian ship owner was smart enough to make copies of those export licenses from the Kremlin.....if you are reading send a copy to every friend and family member you have....

2 hours and 42 minutes ago the arms ship made a U-turn and is headed back to Russia.

This according to the British Navy.

Always a man of my word.......bowing

But you might have already known that by the time posted on the bet post........grin

Boban1: CIA, MI6 agents direct massacres in Syria: American analyst

Interesting headline, with a interesting video...

but what actually caught my attention was one comment on that video...This is a war NOT JUST ORCHESTRATED AGAINST SYRIA; this is a war orchestrated AGAINST RUSSIA, and the russian leaders very well know about it. The grand geopolitical design envisages installing puppet regimes in Syria and Teheran in order to further usa-europe interests in the Middle East and break the MILITARY backbone of Russia, and the ECONOMIC backbone of China. The question that remains to be asked is: ¿How many corpses of innocent syrian civilians is Putin,-the man at the helm in Russia-,prepared to watch as a a result of usa-israhell-ksa-qatar-turkey masterminded carnages in Syria, before pounding his fist on the table, and yelling at obama`s masters: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,

That is ridiculous. rolling on the floor laughing

Think that Putin gave up just because ship turns around? Watch and learn.....

Know what a An-124 Condor is? The worlds largest military transport plane. Russia has 24 of them. One An-124 will hold 3 maybe 4 HINDs

The Russian ship will make port in Saint Petersburg and the HINDS
will placed in AN-124 Condors that are in the Russian Air Force
and then flown to Syria.

Putin has backup trans plan to supplying Russian tanks, helos and plans to shipping them by vessel. Vessel are cheaper. So he uses that first until caught. The profit margin is better Now he has been caught.

So he flies them there.

So don't worry Putin will get his HINDS and lot of other military hardware into the coming proxie war before it is over with.

But I still pulling for the 680m Sunnis.....I like the underdog.

By the way.....it was when 8 Russian transport planes flew into Kabul and offloaded a Russian Para unit when the Afghanistan war really began. The Afghans had been told it was relief supplies.

Escalating hostilities between President Assad's forces and Syrian rebels has become a daily part of life in Syria. As reports of civilian casualties mount there has been concern about what the response of the United States and Russia would be to this growing hot spot. U.S. President Obama and Russian President Putin have not surprisingly lost their patience with the dangerous escalation of hostilities in Syria and are calling for an end to the combat and a political transition in the country.

President Putin needs to tell that President Obama. Because at his new conference (which I heard live)....he clearly said Russia and China are not onboard with the removal of Assad.

But if international song and dance were a olympic sport, these two would be in your top 5 finalist.

America has not dropped a bomb in Syria, that I am aware of. But maybe you have some knowledge of it. Most all the heavy MIL hardware in Syria is Russian made.

But remember my post earlier that Syria was a diversion for Iran nucs?
Yesterday was the last day of the Moscow talks on Iran nucs. The session ended before the Mexico G-20 broke and Obama and Putin had their 2 meeting and then press conferences. Moscow was all finished by that time in Mexico City.

I watch both Obama's 20 minute Q and A....he answered 4 question....none were on Iran. I also saw the Putin and Obama joint press conference....neither said a words about Iran or had a question on it.

How much in the media have you seen regarding the failed Moscow conference on Iran's nucs? I read one small 4 para article on it. All the rest was on Syria and the EU money crisis.

Iran won yesterday. They dodged additional Moscow conference sanctions and then dodged any heat in the media. Just saying this is a big reason Syria is happening.imo

Syria is a diversion. Iran ran a diversion on the Bush administration right after 911. This Syria thing is bigger and more deadly. But still a geo political faint in my opinion.

---
I did read Kofi Annan 6 point UN peace plan for Syria. He does not request that Assad step down in it. Or does he state that a election process be set up to replace him or get a vote of the Syrian people.

So it basically is a ceasefire. The Syrian Freedom Army already honored it one time. Then the first atrocities hit. Fool me once your fault, fool me twice, my fault.....the SFA will not buy into a ceasefire without UN observers in my opinion. I would not, would you?

---

Finally. My WH report on Syria is done. Submitted several days ago....before the Mexico conference and the Moscow Iran talks.

So I am moving on....have a good thread....been interesting.....

Syria: Rebels commit crimes against civilians

As the US and other allies accuse Russia of trying to supply helicopters and arms (on a vessel recently turned back to Russia),to Syria's Assad regime, the CIA are reported to be covertly passing arms to the Rebels (Financed by Turkey,Saudi Arabia and Qatar) NY Times

The Telegraph reports that an idea between the US&UK, which was considered at a meeting between President Obama and the UK PM, at the G20 meeting recently, might offer President Assad a deal to come to talks in Geneva.

Recently the Pope has expressed his concerns about the situation in Syria, stating that further conflict would spread further afield, encompassing the Middle East, whilst asking all to come to a peaceful solution.

The pontiff also stated that regardless of the situation in Syria He would continue with plans for a Papal visit to Lebanon..

ttom500: Pretty simple. Syria is not as much a national security threat to my country. As a Nucced Iran will be.

Don't get me wrong. I know the Assad's have run terrorist groups out of Syria in the past. The Munich Olympics was done by the Syrian based Black September group.

But compared to Iran? Syrians are boyscouts when it comes to Islamic Jhadding.

So we stay focus on the bigger threat....only so many hours in the day....and one has to get a life.....or so I have told by Boban here....))

During its invasion of Vietnam, the United States sprayed a defoliant herbicide on vegetation and villages to deny "cover to the enemy". This was Agent Orange, which contained dioxin, poisons of such power that they cause foetal death, miscarriage, chromosomal damage and cancer.

In 1970, a US Senate report revealed that "the US has dumped [on South Vietnam] a quantity of toxic chemical amounting to six pounds per head of population, including woman and children". The code-name for this weapon of mass destruction, Operation Hades, was changed to the friendlier Operation Ranch Hand. Today, an estimated 4.8 million victims of Agent Orange are children.
