Lonely1: Oh..? How does on make natural orange juice into a jelly like consistency? Will have to do a Google search...
Natural orange juice can be made into Jello just like many other fruit's juices.
Just the orange juice has to be warmed (almost to boiling point) to inactivate the natural enzymes and then add the gelatin (disolved or following the instructions of the brand chosen) the longer the juice is warmed the longer it keeps but the less the flavor.
This is (my) pineapple jello (natural of course and some honey added)

I used to make my bread in a bread machine but it got a bad scratch with the same spades and to replace the container is close to buy a new one, so I make my bread by hand now.

Lonely1: Wow, that looks delicious. You seem to be quite a versatile chef. I also have a bread maker that I have not used in years.
I could buy another bread machine (maker) but I just dislike trowing things out (yes, I know it can be recycled) but still. Food is important for me and I like to eat well and having fresh fruits/vegetables all year round is wonderful. Regarding to expensive ingredientes I would try them once or twice but not on daily bases, my cooking is more home-like and mostly Mexican and Italian.
It would seem that eating well takes lots of time but it is not the case, it is just a matter of efficient planning, for example I make Salsa and just change the type of peppers and in one event I can have 3 different types of salsa that will last for up to 2 weeks, etc...the inconvenient would be the amount of dishes to do. I used to have a dish washer at home but the Father of my children got the home (my choice). Why not I do install one? just because of the water consumption.
I hope that my posting the images of the food I cook-prepare could motive people that does not much cooking to try to prepare their own food and improve their nourishment.

That is a very efficient approach, the cooking lessons, to teach people how to eat.
Once I had to evaluate the work of some people and among them there was one professional who was in charge of developing a group of fishermen, to improve their income, etc... so I got to meet the fishermen and their family and to make an economic/social evaluation of their production-extraccion system.
The professional in charge was busy looking for ways to improve their income when they had already a precious protein in their hands, so I suggested to have a contest of fish-dishes excluding the traditional ones (fried, broth, etc) and we got some prizes for them (nets for fishing and some pots, etc..). The even was a success they the fishermen and their spouses create several interesting dishes and they made some specially for children (not spines). In that way they did value the protein they had at hand (improving their nourishment) and they developed a sense of creativity and pride by the dishes they presented.
Has anyone ever tasted the water in a real coconut? There has been an explosion of packaged coconut water products - kinda like bottled water - which always state that they are the real deal. For me they taste like dirty water and is filled with all kinds of crap. Please drink the water from a real coconut in order to compare before buying these products.

Lonely1: Post a copy of foods and drinks that you like or has tasted or recommends or would never eat again.
Damn this post is making me hungry! I like a lot of foods and I am lucky to live where you get pretty much every cuisine available, but I'm currently craving for ribs....
