Our culture gradually adopted this policy all by itself and if anything it worked too well and our governments should be forcing us to breed. All the other races of the earth are very different, and they don't have the luxury of time.

We were indoctrinated to believe that having babies was destroying the planet, so we quit having very many, and now we are importing people from cultures who have many. Because they say we need breeders/workers to keep the ponzi schemes going.

In what respect? If you look at the demographics of most 1st world countries, they are self governing regarding number of children, so the average is around 2, however, in less well developed countries, the average family is huge, that way they have a greater chance of survival.
As these countries move closer to economic and social stability, so the families naturally get smaller. But sometimes a short sharp kick from the ruling classes is needed to set the correct path, maybe?

Who are they to decide how many kids we want to have. I want to have 5-7 kids.....am i break the rule?
If we have many kids, and we can give good quality of their life by give them best education and make them know their responsibility and independent, why not?
My mom has 9 kids, all are independent. Now she happy and enjoy the fruits.
More kids.....more luck, more blessed.

I agree totally. Ok. Ur allowed to have e.g. 1.56 kids. So u have one and the next two and the however manyth can have three.So now number one has two and number two three, so number three can have one, no more.

I alone choose how many kids I want and some think of afford as well. I still wanted a little girl, with my 2 boys and even wanted to adopt one, when I got them back.
Was I in the wrong ? On my own I could afford all three, but would a single mother of two sons, be allowed to adopt a daughter ? I doubt it.
So now I will wait till they get married, maybe one day, and I will have two daughters and maybe grandkids as well !!!

It appears that in America indoctrination works very well.Here in South Africa, I for one am impossible to be indoctrinated.

but children changed.
children used to be part of use production side of the family.
now children are the biggest consumers.
and I even believe the richer you are the bigger the percentage gets your child will burn from the household budget.
as soon as we accept children to help more and assist I think they will get more value in western society

In the UK we have a benefits system and single mothers have leached off it for decades...they make wrong choices and someone else has to pay for those choice

It's the basically the same here and it has decimated the black families. A woman gets more money for having babies if there is no father in the house. The more babies she has the more money she gets. It not working for anyone and anybody who thinks it is is just foolish. It's a daft system.------ This thread is Archived ------
