Yumie...the debate is very interesting, however when the debaters resort to slander, it cheapens it. Frauds like Ray should be admonished for his bigotry. Now if an open minded person with decency instead of hateful statements and ego would take up the debate for Ray, it would be a pleasure to learn their positions.
Ignorance is not debatable Yumie..it should be examined and rectified. It would be by an open minded person...too bad Ray is closed minded...that is why I feel sorry for him. He should stop worrying about cut/copy paste techniques and start worrying about being a human being.

means just that (plus whatever consequences that happen to come along with what we do
choose). By the way, we aren't sent to either a heaven or hell. Only if we choose to go to
either one of those do we get to visit.

Yes very close minded. it seems that the only ones who aren't close minded on here are christian and already that fellow with the garden gnome is typical of this. I have spoken to ray in mails and there is no way he is cutting and pasting and a fraud like you say. He knows too much from the Tao Te Ching and sanskrit litrature and his own views are from eastern standpoints and i can see that because i was born from those viewpoints. I have been back and read the end of the old godthread to catch up and i think he just hates idiots and dogmatism and people who are trying to stop voices from being heard and close minded and doen't mind resorting to harsh terms for them and by far has the most interesting and radical religous views that are constantly trying to be silenced and i can see why he is despised. in my book i call that brave, as i myself am always forming my opinion of the religious truth since i was born in the east but grew up in the west and had all these different views imposed on me as the one truth and supposedly theonly way to heaven

you guys might find Hebrews chapter 10 very interesting. especiallyverses 26 -36. I do not think you realise what you are saying regarding Jesus Christ and Or Father in Heaven. Chapter 11 faith as well. Trampling on Christ is lthe same as trampling on God. WHEN PEOPLE DELIBERATLY( DELIBERATELY) reject Christs offer of salvation they reject Gods most precious gift. They ignore the leading of the Holy spirit the One who communicates to us Gods saving Love... this warning was givien to Jewish Christians who were tempted to reject Christ for Judaism but it applies to anyone who rejects Christ for another religion, having understood Christs atoning work, deliberately turns away from it. the truth is there is no other acceptable sacrifice for sin other than the death of Christ on the cross. if someone cleary rejects the sacrifice of Christ after "CLEARLY" understanding the Good News teaching about it then there is no way for that person to be saved because God has not provided any other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them...Look at Acts 4;12
How have people insulted and disclaimed the Holy Spirit/ The sacrifice of Christ is tied with the Holy Spirit there fore to scorn Christs sacrifice is to insult and disclaim the Holy spirit by arrogantly rejecting Him. The Holy spirit is a person not just a force or influence. To reject Him is to cut off the means of Gods acceptance. This is equivilent of Blasphemy aginst the Holy Spirit.. Derserving of great punishment are those are those who insult the Holy Spirit who brings Gods mercy.
Gods power is awsome and His punishment terrible. these words give us a glimpse into the holyness of God. He is sovereign His power is unlimited,He willdo as He promises. This judgement is for those who have rejected Gods mercy. For them falling into Gods hands will be a dreadful experience. They willhave no more excuses. They will discover that they were wrong but it will be to late. For those that accept Christs Love and His salvation however the coming judgement is no cause to worry being saved by His Grace they have nothing to fear!!!! God Bless you Gnome... In the midst of terrible persecution they could have hope however knowing that salvation was theirs. remember the benefits of standing firm and continue to live for Christ the evidence that you are really committed to Jesus.
