Ray it is exactly this haughtiness expressed when all do not comply to what amounts to dictates rather than discourse that provoke the attacks you have faced here in forum. You would do yourself a great justice to temper your words with a modicum of dignity for yourself (to be accepted) and to others (to recognize their positions).

Really, it's hard to explain evolution to someone in a few posts - I assume they know what I mean or at least what ‘evolution’ means.
Yeah but I'm just a kid...what does that make you guys then? When you’re older you can refute scientific fact based on pure evidence and what even experiment reveals and reinforces?

Ray I do own this tome as well and have perused it many times to say the least. It's title explains another twist in your logical procession here. A few posts above you openly refute Origin as a fool's errand and now propose to quote from a book aptly titled Origin of Species. Please, refrain from the constant doubling of your tracks as we are not seeking a hunt and kill scenario here but an open forum of communication. If you run like prey every time it suits you, you will end up feeling like the mouse in its horizontal approah to escape from its predator. Callous words like dumb (even though it is improperly used here through its correct meaning) deride the OP beyond reason and cause a cessation of fairness in our predelication here. Again a faux pas, unintended as you seem to enjoy the banter as well.

Points taken - but unbelievable digression from the original point by my man Denete here... with his unhesitant fearlessness in refuting that Evolution is a fact.
I do laugh at that refutation – no matter who made it. The evidence is THERE.
Evolution does not mean becoming better as it is commonly mistaken to mean (there is variation, adaptation, decent etc) - but I can’t educate all to this, I presumed something so simple was understood.

I by no means am attempting to dissuade your point nor belittle you Ray, just trying to play devil's advocate for lack of a better word and keep us all on a level playing field. None of us are professional atheletes and as such injury is more problematic here for us as we have lives to entertain as well. I wonder has ray ever read up on narcissistic personality disorder?... he may be more educated than you, but I have to say, I am more impressed by your empirical understanding of these subjects, which are entirely ur own than Ray's unwaivering intellectual snobbery... I am a diagnosed narcissist and have reaped the repercussions all my life.
By Evolution I mean transmutation; the definition of evolution is: a change in the inherited traits of a population from one generation to the next. The traits themselves are the expression of genes that are copied and passed on to and through offspring. Mutations in these genes can produce new or altered traits, resulting in heritable differences between organisms.
EXACTLT AS I HAVE EXPLAINED. SCIENTIFIC FACT. These changes can be observed, therefore evolution as described above is a fact. Transmutation occurs.
I am becoming snobbish here because the truth is being refuted.
It is a fact, and I don’t care how many of you club together on here to refute it, I will defend it. Evolutionary biology is a gigantic study under which many considerations come that I cannot go into here (variation, natural selection, recombination, genetic drift, gene flow etc). But that is the basic defintion and there is enough evidence to support it. Period.
And someone always comes along and is more impressed by that which suits the level of their intellect (or lack thereof).
