I took it as an insult due to the fact that I don't believe the same as he does. That's the problem with the written word. Everyone interprets it differently. Maybe he should be the one clarifying what he wrote. I'd like to hear it.

Not really a Mob, I prefer 'mutual defence league'. Really not so different from the confederacy of anti-Christians you follow.
Obviously your American History background is limited. I can exscuse this lack of education since you are not a resident or immigrant to this nation. Should that change I would hope you would correct this lack.
I think Darwin was in South or Central America, was he not? Perhaps some advanced course in geography would help?
King and Darwin, great writers, though King is more prolific and has a better grasp of marketing.
So really, The god-thread proves in the end what intelligentsia is: a mob against any theological explanation for our existence.
The words of the famous bible on the power of God:
"... with God all things are possible." -- Matthew 19:26
"...The LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron." -- Judges 1:19
The words of the famous bible on dealing with personal injury:
"...thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. " -- Exodus 21:23-25
"...ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also." -- Matthew 5:39
Now, how to make up a belief from these "wise words" ??

Ok, IF we concede that the presence of an act proves the group is so founded, ( which I do Not ), then we must also concede that any act against the creed of a group condemns the group, and shall be considered the official policy of said group. then we must condemn any society that man has created, Academia, which trains the scientists who create the weapons and devices, not to mention the economics, and political science, which are used to control and subjagate mankind. Religions which have practiced human or animal sacrifice, suicide bombs targeting non combatants. Governments which supply weapons and financing to commit crimes against humanity.

We gave the Indians alcohol, they gave us Tobacco. Pretty even trade . I live and deal with the Native population. I'm conversant with the reality of North America's conquest by Europeans. Spain, France and England began the war with the natives, same as in Australia, Africa, and Asia. While there were excesses and atrocities, even a cursory study shows that it was bi-lateral. Too often we impress our values onto history. These people were evolving. They had hardly become the sophisticated urban society we now have. The Indians were in the way, they were, by definition of the period, savages, they were first offered payment, which was often accepted, by men who had no title or right to sell. Others, who had no more right to sell or defend resisted and were beaten or displaced by sheer numbers. Many of those displaced moved west where they killed or displaced other natives. All the time the natives were readily purchasing European merchandise for furs etc. Nobody twisted thier arms, they coveted the goods, becoming dependant upon that which they lacked the ability to create. Much like 'crack' addicts they sold thier birthright for a handful of beads. And often sold that which was not thiers to sell. Eventually Religous leaders stepped in, upset with the treatment of these humans at the hands of a more advanced society. They argued for assimilation over extermination. This was the situation the United States inherited with it's founding. The struggle remained, unresolved to this day, because the two societies are unable to reach a satisfactory compromise.
In the name of God is not the exclusive slogan of conquest. Often the underlying theme is 'I am stronger, and you have something I want.' Even Mr. Lo used that philosophy, just ask Washakie.
Good Evening,Gnome! i do understand and respect your frustaration in trying to explain to us, mortals your Christian/Protestant believes ... but (there is always buts huh?) Maybe it is time for you to stop to hurt your typing fingers.

How could anyone sleep with all the whining, crying and babbling you are doing?
You are easy to spot and pose no threat. I'll let Trish speak for herself, young one, rather than condemn her for association with you.
I would think you of all people would deplore the assault upon a man with a masters in phsychology, yet you chortle with glee at the attacks upon him because he did not present thoughts you wanted to hear.

Glad to see you coming around to my way of thinking ray. What is human is finite, and the truth is eternal. What is truth IS devine, what comes from man dies with man. "God is dead" - Nietzsche "Nietzsche is dead" - God
