Wonderful serpico! It takes those special breed of dreamers and visionaries to leven the whole lump. The 'dreamers' who shoot for the stars, and say why not.' Perhaps we're a more gentle bunch, but the insightful dreamer has lain down negative aggression and futility in order to spend all his/her energies on a higher calling. cafe

Just love this... the words you come up with & the way you put them together... I'll never be a poet, but sure can appreciate great poetry. Sometimes dreams play a big part in being able to hang on just long enough to get through a hard time... a great blessing to have...being able to dream. Great writing!

'wandering the face of the earth, wondering what our dreams might be worth'...funny this song should be playing when i open up your poem. there's only one blanket to keep the soul warm against the cold...and you've weaved it into words for us all. perception, the daily grind falls away, continuously. bravo, serpico!
