It is the silence. Immanent void that as a thief steals the breath from my utterance, the blood from my lips, the salt from my tears. Yes, silence. Once welcomed companion, sanctuary from the illiterate clamor of life turned consuming spect
Consider this: "Love" is a VERB--and ongoing process of being the best soul you can be with each passing moment. An oldie from 1984, this little song popped into my mind a few days ago, out of nowhere, and asked to be shared. Hope you enjoy it. Sorry I have been away so much of late. I'm working feverishly on the sequels to "Chalice" and on final edits of that herculean story. I could use a few beta readers. If there are among you any who'd like to get a free electronic copy of "Chalice" and review it for me on amazon, write me and I'll be happy to arrange to send you a .docx file.
Tryst Ending to preserve family.

“Don’t be afraid to feel hurt, it can take you to the next level of your life” ~Bliss~ I wrote this for someone very special to me that is going through an end to a love affair. Life goes on if even ever so slowly, time does heal.

Hurt is like an angel weep Heart given for safety keep Cuts sharp into the edge of sleep Hurting cannot make for strong Seeps out notes from every song Makes the nightlight dwindle long Soul bright hidden puckered cloud Fear steps clatter
This is the translation of an outstanding Russian poet's Marina Tsvetaeva's poem "Two songs" (the 2nd song). Truly speaking, I took the liberty of translating Tsvetaeva's poetry for the sheer joy of it - haven't come even closer to the original. Those who don't know Russian can't even imagine how heart-rending and beautiful the poem is. There must be some good translations - for those who wish to enjoy the poem to the last (Marina Tsvetaeva, Dve pesni. 14 June, 1920).
About the heart that cannot receive the gift of love..
Inspired by a recent breakup after a visit to Nantucket Isle...strangely enough....
As I lie in bed listening to the rain Falling softly The raindrops beating a soft melody like a drum on the rooftop The curtains fluttering in the breeze Softly thru the open window My arms instinctively reach for you And I find only

I survived all my dreams, There is none to be found, It seemed more like a bliss, But it’s over for now. I have paid off my price, Nothing’s left, I am out. I have squandered my heart So it’s over for now. I have done all my chores, And
