Self Explanitory
This is a poem by the author Rocky Rochford. He has published a number of poems over the years, but this is my favourite one. It appears in his novel, A Work in Progress (The Life of a Disgraced Author.) By no means is Rochford famous, but he's an author I've had the privilege of knowing. Writes characters like you wouldn't believe and this poem just catches the essence of the book and its protagonist perfectly.
As we age, we seem to have feet in two homelands.....and anyone who has relocated, understands the difficulties.......as well as obvious benefits......
Inspired by the flames...:-) I decided to omit punctuation this time, as I noticed that so doing sometimes makes the boundaries between one sentence and the next seem ambiguous, as though the sentences are lapping at each other, like flames. The beauty of innocence.............
There will come a time when Life will kiss the silver apple When the sun that rises in the East and settles in the west Shall kneel to the true son of Light When wrinkled hands and calloused Knees shall walk on streets of gold When imaginati

I had this crazy friend in my life for about 35 years now. I've had a lot of fun with him, I just wish he would get his act together, but still I appreciate what time I can see him, for the very little it has been for the last 28 years.
Wrote this back when myspace was hot. It was a semi-dedication to an ex and drew from the same inspiration. was not my intention to win her back or sway favor to rekindle what we lost... yet a reminder of a good time. Rev@32
True story.. This man spoke in such a quiet voice that you would have to be standing right next to him to hear what he was saying. His humility was so deep that it was almost other worldly. I'll never get over that voice til my last breath.
The greatest message of hope of all time.
