My Vacation
I have been wanting to go to California all my life. Most of my trips as a child were to Arkansas where I went to the Gateway Arch in St. Louis only once. Then it was fishing in Hayward or Gordon, Wisconsin.

I do karaoke every Thursday night unless there is a Packers game, Thanksgiving, or bad weather. The DJ said he was having a 90's costume party with 100 dollars for best dressed of a famous person from that decade. I picked out my favorite song from each year. The Journey
This piece was inspired by a gentleman I met on a dating site. Our relationship impacted my life, leaving me with all these emotions and nowhere to expend them. So, I prayed, and got the answer to write the poem (prose). We are not communicating. However, I look for the day we resume contact. The music inspired the title.
