As street lie silent, but lights shine bright Life seems difficult, though not all fight When nature shows, how to continue Twilight's ruddy glows, sending clues Evening looms ahead, families at home A lockdown ensures, we mustn't roam Vital
Connecting all the dots ....... of love
What do your hands hide I am lava every time you touch look from under the eyelashes. Covered with sweat scrolls of arms and legs we don't think about tomorrow. We're hiding under the comfort of dreams fleeting hopes. our two for two is an
** Not really true, I was only interested in Adult things, and that, for a teenager - are always, the things, which we can't have! *** I'm being ironic, I'm an atheist, this just happens to suit my poem, as a "literary device". ^ P.N - a school friend of mine (initials changed, and identity withheld). ^^ Bludge: "To bludge" is an Australian colloquialism, which means to: - "not try very hard". ^^^ See my poem "My First Time", to see what happens next, in my life. Please Note: This poem may be purely allegorical, with the I "first person, descriptor" used as a device to generalize about the kind high school years, which may be familiar to "many". This could be largely "Poetic Licence", however, I have tried my best to explain some aspects of "Adolescent Angst", here. ps: Thanks for all your reads, lcbr.
Tagore said: I thank thee that I am none of the wheels of power but I am one with the living creatures that are crushed by it. Here I want to say: I am none of the wheels of destiny but I am one with the living creatures that are crushed by it. Although a flower is beautiful and enviable, the grass is also great and contribute to soil conservation. Now that destiny gives us a different life, people should respect and love each other.
Love the life!
A poem about life and faith or death and doubt and everything else in between.
* Sydney's "red light" district. ** (I'm being ironic here - not exactly the "cradle of civilization"). *** YOTS = Well-known Sydney Christian charity helping street kids **** Due to out-of-control alcohol/drug-fueled violence, pubs, nightclubs, etc are closed to new patrons at 1 am (Lockout Laws). Many say this has harmed businesses and destroyed the nightlife. ^ I've quoted a line here, from the Australian film Blue Murder
I can recall before leaving the UK for NZ many years ago, how surprised I was to learn NZ had the higher rainfall.....
My definition of poetry.
I looked across the empty barren field Where the land seemed to lay silent and still Remembering a time when it once yield Now everything seems destined to be killed I knocked on your door then let myself in Emptiness was found took my breath
You are every woman to me And sure as the sky's above No other woman can I see No other woman will I love I see you on the street I see you at the store I see you in the my dreams I need to see you more I sought you since my adolescence
I think it's pretty evident what the poem is about. Before the coming of Christianity, the Earth was respected and revered as the great mother. Chritianity taught humans were above nature instead of part of it. The belief system was forced on the people who were forced to abandon their old Gods.
When God looks down upon me, just what does He see?... A man that is righteous,...or at least tries to be?... Or does He see things that I can’t imagine?... I simply can’t fathom,....The Master’s reactions... He’s said “In My Father’s house, th

BEHIND A LOOK
It's a Poem about Nature, about a butterlfy.
There's an echo through the valley A hammer is pounding on a nail A few stop to listen as the echo has a story to tell The echo has the sound of a holy ring Like that of a church bell when you hear it cling There's an echo through the valley d
I am a foster mum and look after dogs that come from the pound until their forever home is found
Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses. Love
You know me ... And my quicky lines ....Ha ha ha
I have been listening to this song by Kermit because I have a record player that puts records and tapes onto CDs.
Ceremonial serums reconstruct sickness, Syrups deconstruct what is stuck... Powerful potions relieve with a quickness, Liquids laced with bad luck... Syrupy spirits so sourly sweet, Relief with no substitute known... Elixirs, consistors of p
Goodbye my angel with blue eyes with hair like a gossamer thread you are gone on the hills covered with frost cold breath of Lord God. Goodbye my angel with a gentle smile with lips like rowan corals you are gone. Being human is too much
* Excluding the Lesbian, and Gay, pubs. ** It was, at this time, now quite expensive - and gentrified. *** Old male alcoholics, on "skid row" drinking "metho" (methylated spirits). **** A pub. ***** A measure of beer, (425 mL). ***** Somebody put something in my drink! (in a previous pub, I think it was that c*nt Steve!). ^ My friend at the time, and about my age. ^^ Alexandria, Inner Sydney industrial suburb - now covered in home units (apartments). ^^^ As Shakespeare said. (Erskineville, and St Peter's are also inner Sydney suburbs). The Rose of Australia ............. a pub
Or are they?
The spring storm comes suddenly dragging clouds along the night. Calms the leaves whispering surreptitiously, joyful birding voice. And starts a rainy dance first, slightly for four p. To suddenly strengthen madness, to be a waterfall that k

Anticipation of Spring
Once I dreamt I could fly. I wandered in the sky and met a funeral. My lover and friends stood there, too heart broken to pay attention to me in the sky. Then I found that the dead man was me. I cried madly until I woke up.
I've had some bad neighbors The black couple from Nigeria tops the list They used to complain about my stomping on their roof And they slow cooked and filled the hall with a horrible stench all the time Thankfully they have been gone since 2012

I'm afraid, between waking up and sleeping I will lose myself in desires. That you will disappear before sunrise. Sleep is not a place everyday life. I'm afraid longing for an unknown longing I know well reality of existence. I'm afraid to

American Grass Roots Democracy is possibly something better to talk about on the end of a long New England winter and it is called, Town Meeting Day, when important decisions are made.

Shining through to all corners n crevices My energy positively potent n testing like menaces All in an effort to rebirth n replinish this For what it's worth Hardcore on this from birth I've had ma time to curse Now it's ma time to verse Be
Don't you think it's unfair he is all alone After reading all his poems of love There should be a girl somewhere in this world Who would want him and his poems of love He's been writing such a long time And it seems to no avail Without the r
It is unbearable to watch anymore the plight of refugees across this planet without questioning everything we have been led to believe in and care about.
