all my poem reflect my real life experience. i broke up with a lady that i deeply inlove with. we were about to to be one piece. As a child, growing up, most of the poems I learned at school were of the traditional type. Memorizing and reciting them, which I enjoyed, were part of the learning exercise. Free verse, a modern form of poetry, was a new experience for me. Over the years, I jotted down some of my thoughts on things, especially, on Nature topics. I always considered such writings to be prose. I referred to such writing as poetic prose and labelled some of my earlier poems as such.

Sex/relationships respond not to rules -emotion rules.
Connection, life within clouds. I couldn't write directly to her but I had to write. I felt that love had flown but was so buoyed by the love I'd known. 8 weeks to uncover too much too soon, online & telephone realities & runes. Mellifluous her voice like a gentle sea breeze," it's only me "she would say, setting my spirit free.

A kind of scriptural redefinition of flesh and beauty......
Reflecting on what a "day" is...metaphorically of course.....in a sonnet for just the fun of it....why else?
1/29/2019: Today is the 33rd Anniversary of the explosion of the spaceship Challenger! So much danger in exploring the stars. Therefore - dedicate this poem to both Challenger and Columbia. So sad! I wrote this in 2002 when the Spaceship Columbia shattered on re-entry to Earth. It was just before we went to war in the middle east. As usual, when I'm upset, I turn to my poems.

Love is all about believing who you are what you already believe.
The experience was like Standing by a towering waterfall Casting a mist that played with light A harpist's fingers making prisms And I felt the mist settle On my brow Weeping willows swept softly While I gazed at the calm
