A Church Home Of My Own

For i have looked for a place to call
home, but there does not seem to be
one of my own.
I looked to the Lord to enlighten me
for i needed a church family.
They do not judge me they want only
the best for me and my family.
They set me down and sometimes say
exactly what i need to hear that day.
You lift me up every day in your own
particular way.
Thank you for being there for you
are my church family.
Yes indeed you do care for me as if
i was a part of your immediate family.

calm

the carpet of the forest soft beneath my feet
i listen to the chatter as two streams meet
to secrets of the wind whispered tree to tree
until i hear naught
nor do i see
free of thought
and self
a non-entity
amidst the wonder of the Given

LIFE! NOT TRULY GREAT

'Life' I know with absolution is 'Not Truly Great'!
it can't even come close because of all the hate
Fact is life is so much more painful than dear
as we age reasons why become more clear

From birth to teenager you would never imagine being bad
Foster homes and molestation weren't part of any plan you had
Truth is humans are inexplicably inhumane and vile to the core
remember that every time you get that knock on your door

I believe it's just not feasible to sustain peace of mind
how can one in a world of competition and wickedly unkind
Life would be better if we knew a heaven awaits after we croak
knowing so many are hurting keeps my heart and soul broke

When all those less than great parts of life unfold
"IT'S PART OF LIFE"... is what we get told
We must endure watching the ones we love most pass away
our ONLY choice is to "get over it"... no ones here to stay

Constant disappointment can and will make you numb
If you feel this "Life is Great"... you're blind then some
Life isn't great and I can't point out EVERY reason why
I do hope with all my might... we're better off after we die

Awakening

Too much engrossed in the fable of life, tis not meant to be taken seriously, here today, gone tomorrow, arrived in March, departed in May, look, I just did not want to stay, I've got eternity to find my way, I may be back, or I may not, dont know why I came here, I forgot!

Poem Of Ascension

If I could 'die' before I die, then when I die, I shall not die.

Beyond The Shore

I look out across the Ocean as far as my eyes can see
And i wonder if you are out there..
THE ONE i’m yet to meet, patiently waiting thinking of me.

As i leisurely stroll in knee deep refreshing water with the suns warmth caressing my back,
I begin to count my blessings, yet i am still very mindful of that prescious love i lack

I watch couples walk by hand in hand.
I long to do the same, and i wish that i knew your name
Then i could playfully write it alongside mine in the sand.

I guess that only time will tell, reveal,
who is who and what is meant to be .
Who and what destiny has in store for me.

As i begin to embrace this new chapter in my life,so ready to move on from the past
I hope that the love of my life is out there being prepared
And trust that the best really has been saved till last !

Rebirth

On the parapits
The angels do sing
Their melody
Of courded notes
Float

Withering in the air
Over the fields of green
Lost in the peace
And untainted air

The wandering souls the long lost departed
At peace the y wait
Their numbers swelled
At peace they are

they wait
To earth to be sent
Rebirth new life
To be born again

Giver

Be a giver, not a taker.
One day it will come back,
Whether it was real or fake,
We always get what we gave back.

:::::::Be Made Anew:::::::

All heavy laden come to God,
Admit your sin ,its not so odd.
Find forgiveness in the blood,
Start a new life on this sod.

Break the curse, Turn from sin,
Feel God's love, get clean within.
Be the child you've never been,
Grow into a good christian.

Be made new, it's for you;
By God's word ,it's all true.
Eyes are open, all lies too,
Conviction strong,What do I do?

Agree with God ,that's the key,
Bow the knee and become so free.
Be Born again in Jesus' name,
Clean as snow, no more shame!

Grow in love with a God above,
Comfort from His heavenly dove.
Looking into His loving face,
Having a place in God's Grace.

ACCEPT ME AS I AM

Embedded image from another site

I may not be the same as you
Seeing things with a different view
Feeling things and reacting to them
Doesn’t make me an abnormal friend

Trying to make fun of me
And trying to change me to please
Making my confidence completely fold
Not everyone fits the same mold

I accept you the way you are
Not everyone is an outgoing shining star
Some of us are quiet and serious
Sometimes acting quite mysterious

That doesn’t make us an object to ridicule
Or to be made felt like a complete fool
Please be kind and gentle with us
Don’t push and make such a fuss
