Little Boy Hide Away

Little boy in Kentucky hiding away
In the lonely mountains
Safe another day

Never connected and what would he say
Hope of leaving is not detected
Little boy hide away

All the days surround him with a view he has always known
And life has never found him
How can life find you when you're always alone

Get a life is a familiar phrase you could say
Some hold it like a stone a view he has always known
Little boy hide away

Barbed Wire Heart

These wounds are deep inside me.
There is nothing you can see.
It's all internal bleeding,
That will be the death of me.

You've got my heart in wires
With barbs embedded deep.
A cut for everything you've said,
And one for every deed.

Yet the more I fight, the worse it gets,
My struggles are in vain.
You cannot see my suffering,
or feel this twisting pain.

Another strand, another barb
Another wound for me.
While you go on, unaware,
Living so blissfully.

About this poem:
Nothing worse than a toxic relationship.
Old wounds take so long to heal.

I Am A Razor

Every day around quarter past three,
you burst into the bathroom searching for me,
I get hidden by your mother while you are away,
hidden, unused for most of the day,
I feel your anger as your hand grips me tight,
I'm the one & only thing that helps you sleep at night,
I live to put scars on your wrist,
I leave my mark I'm proud of this,
I watch as the beautiful red blood pattern drips,
and runs off the ends of your fingertips,
what possesses humans to act like this,
to scream, cry & cut their wrists,
but for now, my job is clear
the reason that I was brought here
to relieve the pain
to sit by the window and watch the rain,
up until around quarter past three
when you burst into the bathroom searching for me...

For me.

I am a man trapped in a woman's body. I want to be heard. I want to be free. I want to be me. I want to be loved. For me ):

At The Speed Of Life

Everything keeps happening at the speed of life
Why do memories wait so long
Before they start looking back at the speed of life

There's something you want to say
Somewhere you want to be
Someone you long to see

Somehow it happens as suddenly as saying good night
And once yesterday wasn't so far out of sight
But that was when we never thought about the speed of life

Maybe we should have prayed when we were young
That life would have stayed as it had begun
And now lonely has become the meaning of quiet

There's something you want to say
But who will hear the words that fade away
At the speed of life

Something is Amiss at Poets Corner

Something is amiss at poets corner.
I don't know what, but my hackles are raised.
It seems someone wants attention.
But not praise.
Then another player is brought in.
In the guise of another's friend.
I no longer am sure who is who.
Male or female.
Or what story they are trying to tell.
I do know I have always liked this little place.
Sad to see the ambiance go without a trace.
Adult or child?
I will just sit back and watch a while.

the guardians of our lost souls

never lose sight of light
even as pearls of tears falling off your face
painted walls of torture and pain
silk and honey rubbed on your skin
to be scraped off by the tongue of the gods
enthralled as your master
if only to spare your agony
but you know
nothing exist between you and your dreams
promised of a gold filled tomorrow
now rest on your skills
blow and suck and let them lick your petals
ah if only you know you've been fooled
used and worn like those linens
now crumpled on your feet
how long will it be, when you realize
they will get away with these crimes
while you lay rotten, shamed and beaten
and no one heard of your screams
because their weapon and defense
is encrypted in our silence
the never ending game
afforded by money and fame

and as you lay weak and dying
you have become nothing
just a piece of a** bought and paid for

by these masters of evil
we call: the guardians of our lost souls.
if only you knew.

About this poem:
I was touched by the sad plights of our young souls caught in the abyss of prostitution.

I was reading Jeffrey Epstein and the many victims of his evil deeds.

It breaks my heart.

I titled it to signify the lies they promise to the victims and families when their first approach them.

I've seen a grim documentary presented by Demi Moore about their recruiting strategy in Asia especially Nepal, Philippines, etc.

Very sad.

Thanks all for your reads and comments if any.

OUTSIDE LOOKING IN

Standing on the outside looking in
Still a stranger after all these years
Of striving to become a friend
Realizing things are not as they appear

Like a wallflower at a dance
Standing on the sidelines hoping
Staring at others as in a trance
But instead with sadness and coping

Going away to lick the wounds
Of disappointment as once again ignored
Moving off to a different room
Striving for emotions to be restored

When all else fails slipping far away
To escape the rejection once again
To come back and try another day
Striving once again to become friends

xmas where are you

Is it that time of year
With lots of cheer
We wish you a merry xmas
The cries ring out

Music plays we wish a merry xmas
I dont feel happy i feel sad
Gone is santa his present un opened
Lies where it was a decade ago
How the spirit broken the fun laughter gone
Should i laugh should i cry
My heart lays broken
Time flown
Decades gone
Where has xmas gone

The Lonely Man

Perched upon a driftwood log
silently he sits
stares at the foaming waves
on this forgotton beach
a lonely man thinks of the past
a short lived smile upon his lips
as he remembers
his children on this same beach
playing games and running wild
all gone now and out of reach
he returns to his reverie and

a darker mood settles over him
all gone now
all gone he thinks
a tear rolls down his weathered cheek
for times long past.

he thinks
maybe death would welcome me
and set me free at last
no more thoughts of the past
or a lonely future
filled with dread
the black dog nipping at my feet
visits me at night in sleep

all gone now
all gone now he thinks
the pills he brought should do the trick
to end this hell on earth
and set him free at last
swallow the pills and be quick
too late to turn back now

perched upon a driftwood log
sleepily he sits
stares at the darkening waves
on this forgotton beach
the sun shines bright
in an azure sky
no clouds to darken anything

as he tumbles off the log
his sight fading and body weak
he lays on this forgotton beach
staring at the dark blue sky
and wonders why its come to this
a lonely way to die
he thinks

the tears run down his weathered face
now darkness gathers in this place
its time to die and say goodbye
to this lonely man
on this forgotton beach

now he rests in peace
on this lonely beach
a lonely man
the world forgot
lays upon this forelorn shore
a smile upon his frozen face
tells of his new resting place

rest in peace
