I have tried
Little is as always was
When romance still was king
Days of prose and days of poems
And days of songs to sing
I looked across a sea of smiles
And none were turned to me
For old I was in my ways
And not I'm meant to be
In the time of here and now
Another man is sought
His mouth must curse the one he's with
And she'll so be caught
Call her whore, call her slut
To you they will gather
Be like me and show respect
And son you will not have her
I have tried to be the man
That I was taught to be
Do not curse, show respect
Just brought me misery
I sometimes try to wear a mask
And be the cur girls seek
Soon still I find it is not me
Back to romantic geek

About this poem:
Just wish I could be like the guys that seem to have women drooling all over them no matter how badly they treat them. I look at my upbringing and wonder why I wasn't taught to be a bad boy type. They get the girls and no matter what women tell you nice guys not only finish last... They aren't even allowed in the race.
SADNESS IN POETRY
People are calling me a poet,
In this cozy little neighborhood,
And let me tell you right now Folks,
That gets me feelin' somethin' good,
See, I don't write,
To excite,
To titillate,
Or to please,
I only dip my pen in life's inkwell,
For the joy, the calm, that it brings,
When I'm alone,
It guides me home,
When I'm in fear,
It draws me near,
When I lose hope,
It helps me cope,
When I feel shame,
It remembers my name,
Doesn't always gladden me,
Writing certain moody thoughts,
Will often sadden me,
But sometimes,
We all need,
To be sad.

Lonely Side Of Town
Taxi take me down to the lonely side of town
My tears I need to hide
Along the walk by the riverside
I need a special place to pray
And ask the Lord to take my burdens away
The skies have been so gray
And there's no love around
Taxi take me down
To the lonely side of town
My mind needs some space
From this crazy rat race
My soul and my spirit need a heavenly embrace
Today that old muddy river doesn't make a sound

It's a long drive to the city
I'm here all alone nowhere else to go what is there to do
And this is the feeling when the only idea is blue
The sun shines through my window upon my easy chair
I know when I was younger I'd never be sitting there
And soon leaves will change and fall will be in the air
All my friends have either passed away
Or moved very far to a place like Timbuktu
And this is the feeling when the only idea is blue
How many choices do you have today
Can't make up your mind and still haven't put on your shoes
I guess I don't have much to say when the only idea is blue

He hasn't had a relationship in nearly twenty years
When it comes to romance he's been on the far side of the moon
For a long time he hasn't shed any tears
He's out of touch and you know he's not returning anytime soon
He's disconnected in the dark
Not a woman in sight to touch his heart
He forgot how to whistle a happy tune
Silence is not golden on the far side of the moon
He has no one to pick flowers for
So what's the point if they should bloom
He'll never pick them anymore
He no longer has a calendar not even for the month of June
His message fades away power supply is nearly gone
Is it fair this should be his doom
Not even nasa can bring him home
And he's stranded on the far side of the moon

Daughter of the ether
Secret things I have seen
what is hidden to man I know
in my endless journeys I have known wisdom
in the places where the spirit rises
I have known the absolute
in my mind you daughter of the ether
magic of the universe
with your grace you gave me a dream
so my heart calmed down
you told me that the infinite of stars
is the mirror of my heart
but in my essence there will be no love
too big it is my pain
the light of my heart will extinguish
daughter of the ether take me away
carry me in a magical place
where there is no more pain
where there is a joyfull..to play

About this poem:
I was feeling suicidal a few hours ago, and these lyrics just popped in my head.It made me smile, so I jotted them down

whats the point when i am unable to give you material happiness and when i know i still live with so much of missunderstanding, yet to be stayed in some place...incomplete...not congenial to...i may disappear soon in few drops of time

This is not a POEM though...Let me clear why do i use three dots(...) in my writing, graphology says people who use three dots in their writing are said to be creative enough , it doesnt mean you are femel !!!
