Numb, that’s how I feel
Some say what’s the big deal
I can’t feel
I can’t smile
I can’t laugh
Numb thats
how I feel
Pleasure no longer
loving feelings lost
It hurts to talk
It hurts to walk
Numb thats how I feel
My eyes are open
Nothing to be seen
I can’t see the sky
It’s to hard to even try
Numb that’s how I feel
Phone rings
Knocks at the door
To much effort
I just lay on the floor
Numb that’s how I feel.

Hearts Throb.
Pensive thoughts,vacant dreams
No memories
Blown away like fallen leaves
to lie dead and forgotten
Selfishness,ego of another
Strikes at the penury of the heart
Depriving her freedom
Keeping her tethered to vows
While she wilts day by day.

I am as poor as the nature
And as simple as heaven
My freedom is ghostly
Like the voices
Of midnight birds.
I see the breathless moon
And the sky,
Which is deathlier than the canvas;
I accept
Your painful and strange world,
Emptiness!

I’m at the gate
Waiting, bright is the house
On the boundary I lean
Seeing the happy, smiling people at home
Does anyone notice, I’m calling
Was I ever there
Here I am in the dark, silent
please
I’m cold, my legs getting tired
How much longer can I stand
Alone looking in
Does anybody see me
What’s wrong with me
I would like to say hello
My voice is gone
It’s been so long
They’ve moved on
Forgotten

Wherever I go
I'm known to no one
And what could I say
I'm known to no one
Am I a drifter a stranger
Or maybe a ghost
I'm known to no one
Not even almost
And I'm not a cowboy I don't have a hat
Don't have any boots you see it's like that and that's the truth
And of course I don't have a horse and I'm known to no one
Sometime I wonder as I go along are the lady who I could yodel too
But I'm always too late you're already taken
I guess my fate is that my heart will always be aching
As I'm known to no one a drifter a stranger or maybe a ghost no one knew

Within the river of dreams
see how they flow gently in silver
streams
The flow of life ever changing
Circumstances rearranging
Though at times it feels life
around us is in a mad race
While other moments it freezes
in dead space
There is a time for everything under the sun
It's more important to know where and when to run
People come and go like the wind in its flow
Nobody knows who or why they show
All that matters we hope to have learned a bit about ourselves as we place our book of life upon our shelves
It may give comfort to hold onto what is true
Yet, often we find nothing lasts but, a moment or two
Love is often fleeting mostly if it isn't real
Maybe because most do not know how it truly feels
In the search of truth and love how we want it to fit like a glove but, we often don't know how to give what we need to live
Some may claim they know the way the truth and the light but, only one seems to know what is right
Within the river of dreams maybe we can just pick and choose what we like
However, as we pass into that good night
we ultimately must be accounted for what we do wrong or right
The question in years to come is how do we want to be remembered come our time we are placed in the ground
will the falling tree make a sound if nobody is around to listen?

What a wreck of a week
If only I hadn’t taken a peek
The ground beneath me feet
Noting but sleet
You sniffed me around
like a hound
following me around
I tried to run
You knocked me down
dragged me through the mud
Twisted me around
looked me in the eye
Said today you won’t die
you wanted my soul
I never felt so cold
I would never give my soul to you
Truth be told
You’re nothing but
A dirty old troll

I might as well be a lonely man
I might as well be sad and blue
I might as well be a lonely man
Cause lonely is all I do
I might as well be a forgotten man
No one thinks of me
I might as well be a forgotten man
Like someone who was lost at sea
I might as well be a broken man
In a thousand pieces or more
I might as well be a broken man
Like the dust you sweep out your door
I might as well sing to a wall
No girl is ever coming around
I might as well sing to a wall
Never be anyone to miss the sound

I love my life
Because it is mine,
It was so kind
To me-
It smeared me
Like a snot on the wall.
It used
Its favorite trick:
When childhood ended -
It cut off my oxygen.
And now I lie like a fish
In the coastal mud
But here's what I think :
I see this world as it is!
I only ask - "slow down"
I only ask - "not now".
My life has taught me a secret :
"When someone feels pain,
The other one feels gain"
In the meantime I lie like a fish
In the coastal mud

online today!
The machines lined the labyrinth in rows
Lights, colors and animations all posed
In endless arrays of enticing sounds
Like children on turning merry-go-rounds
Some people can barely walk or breathe
Still coming in and taking seats beneath
The neon altars of chance, money and vice
All gathered together like a nest of mice
The draw of the elusions and a sum to win
Keeping the people in a polarized spin
Roundabouts in sheer tidal waves of hope
Not aware they are on a slippery slope
Participating for points to keep a status
In the all encompassing apparatus
Designed to become your new home
From its shadows you will not roam
Perceived as a beacon of true light
Serving the lonely slaves by night
Souls the darkest demons possess
Each slap of the buttons causing stress
Endless sounds of screams and elations
Winning money to calm the agitations
Still they file in like going to church
On a never-ending quest and search
Looking for the missing links in their life
Placating the unbearable internal strife
Never looking up, never seeing the above
Their misery resides in a lack of true love
