When I listen to the sounds of rain,
I can hear a music of peace.
It whispers to me as if -
"All will be over again"
I will listen to the music of rain
And its water,
Coming from heaven,
Flow through my hands.
There always comes a sunrise
After any sunset.
Let every destiny be blessed
Just listen to the music of rain

I'm not trying to cross any line
But it is so hard, when this life is actually mine
I'm trying to avoid stepping on a mine
But I'm on a minefield, and nothing is fine
The line between life and death seems to be so fine
So don't ask me to hang here, not crossing the line
When my life is hanging on a line so fine
The line has been crossed by someone Divine
I'm trying to keep walking with every step
I'm hoping to live with every breath
I hope that God will hold my hand
And be my guide until the end
I do not know what the end will be
But I still have hope that He's with me
It could end here for me tonight
But if He's with me, I'm gonna be all right
If I do not make it to the end of the line
The only life lost is gonna be mine
But if I do make it to the end of the field
Then I'll enjoy every breath of the wind

Laura Laura
What do you see
Evil monster staring at me
Feels like I’m being washed out to sea
Laura Laura
Why so sad?
I gave to you my heart
Now it’s nowhere
Never to be found.
Laura Laura
How could this be
You tricked me
I gave to you my soul
With a smile you stole
Laura Laura
Why do you cry
You filled me with nothing but lies
Left me dying inside
Laura Laura
What do you need
Someone to feed my soul
It’s now so cold
Nothing you would want to hold.

Under an amber sunrise
The world becomes empty
And sadness envelopes my mind
Beauty is arms length
But just beyond my grasp
Brown worlds in a crystal bottle
Arms that hold my imagination
I reach out counting every passing desire and all each one becomes another false hope
With dreams of the perfect creation and arms that can reach the moon
But dreams become reality
And my beauty is the sun

You can see it in the homeless ,
walking the streets without a job.
You can see it in the Rich Man,
though he thinks it somewhat odd.
You can see it in the Young Girl,
sitting at home without a Date.
You can see it in the Old Man,
who's thinking that he's too
late.
You can see it in all the Women,
working the streets to make a living.
It will take from you just
when,
you're not ready for the
giving.
Makes no difference Rich or
Poor,
you can see it in their faces.
It doesn't matter where you
go,
Loneliness Crowds All Places.

This part of Kentucky is dying
Most of the people who were here are dead and gone
In this part of Kentucky no one is crying
There's no one left to cry in the town of all alone
And memories have become vague shadows
The view from the front and back porch no longer matters
The only sound is the wind as it blows
For they took up the railroad tracks years ago
Its sad for me to say only time words were well said was yesterday
And a storm blew down the sign for the speed zone
In this part of Kentucky no one is crying
Please beware of steep curves in the town of all alone

Don't you think it's unfair he is all alone
After reading all his poems of love
There should be a girl somewhere in this world
Who would want him and his poems of love
He's been writing such a long time
And it seems to no avail
Without the right girl beside him
He feels like he's been spending his life in jail
So what is he to do
He really wish he knew
Loneliness is so hard to rise above
And where is she the one who needs to read his poems of love

Long about now I am thinking
Is there anyway to stop lonely
The meaning of low just keeps right on sinking
And it's to late to say if only
It can happen as fast as I can look out a window
And my eyes are amazed to see the barren ground
No matter what I do or where I go
Lonely will be there to bring me down
And it will come to pass on some moonlit night
I'll look around and see my shadow is the one and only
Long about now I'll think of some words to write
But they won't help me to stop lonely

I rise at six; say a prayer, check my phone,
Go to the kitchen for my fifteen minutes alone,
Drink my first cup of coffee and practice my smile
And pray for the strength to act docile.
"In the children's presence at least dear Father."
Spine straight, head up and smile on Heather.
Eight-thirty I walk through office doors head held high.
Smile in place, game face on and fighting the urge to sigh.
Appropriate greetings, smile, smile and wave.
Trisha, Andy, Mike, Samantha and even that creep Dave.
" Just another day, another act for the almighty dollar."
Man does Amy ever breaks her collar.
Five I shut my computer down and grab my pocket book.
Home I go to prepare dinner; good wives always cook.
A smile on my face I greet the kids and listen to their tales.
He got an A and she got homework about blue whales.
"Please make him be late, dear God I will take any excuse today."
His car is driving up I noted with dismay.
Ten the house is quiet finally but i can't mistake that for peace.
That I will get when mine, his or both heartbeat cease.
Matrimonial duties are the worse these days.
I avoid them in some unconventional ways.
"Forgive me Father for I am about to sin."
My headache will hit as soon as he walks in.
Tomorrow is a new start or that is what I was taught.
Will I get a new start out of this web in which I'm caught.
I hope so was my last thought before sleep came.
My last feeling though was on of intense shame.
"Father forgive me for I have sinned once more."
I moaned loud and hard as he opens the door.

Life is a short moment
Life is a colorful bird.
We live in one world
Why is brother fighting brother.
Why are wars going on?
Why is this so bad?
We are free
Each of us has our dignity.
Our private world
Where the word hurts like a whip.
Where we fight wars every day
And the word love is gone
Where we destroy every day
and we say we are not bad
We drown out the voice of the inner self
Calling, this is our private world.
