Do you need
What you cannot
define
do you want
what you cannot
describe
are there thoughts
not of your own
where despair
sends your heart
into the unknown

Cannot

I
cannot read
what I cannot define
I cannot see
what makes me so blind
I cannot feel
without the words that you sell
to a lonely heart
that knows you so well

People become cheaper,

Embedded image from another site
People become cheaper, things rise in price …
Just without spirituality in the world prospers.
Duck of a lip, "selfie" with the naked back …
There would be finance … Kindness isn't necessary …

By disabled people and cats bare
Fashionable pepper with a face useless goes …
He has a stability … The father in deputies
And diploma not sickly … He studied in the States.

Someone for the idea and family is at war …
Someone from the General Staff trades in ranks …
Stars on shoulder straps for sale of prisoners,
But they are cheaper than tears ordinary …

The unfortunate commander suddenly "hero" was given,
That in a copper and those are farther than the threw …
That the brother on the brother for a car and giving …
Who in fight it is free – I have given life on delivery …

Chairs, ties, portfolios are on sale,
News in newspapers and the big purposes …
Find conscience for remuneration.
The course of soul is rolled in one moment …

Hatred has eclipsed compassion in people.
The main task – survival is simple …
What fought for – was nonsense …
How in war with itself to win a victory?

Only laughter of kids returns to God,
Not to find war to the world the road …
The sky looks from above and from tears turns gray …
Things rise in price … People become cheaper

HIS

once his words remind me
tought he was divine one
once his words save me
of the one i was

later his voices spin in my head
show me cool colors of life
i'd never seen
left me speechless

my reality my odd
he refuses em all
my existence
been asked

for an angel i've waited long
yet regret come over
here i'm shattered again

My Nights

MY NIGHTS

Here alone in the deep dark night
Waiting for the things that give me fright
Nasty memories
Of people lost and gone
And broken affairs
A hundred schemes that came to nought

Of being alone
But not wanting to be a burden
Aware of my age
Of my state of health
And my chances slim
Of reunions
Or new meetings
Of hearts and minds

Hating to be awake
But dreading the dreams

Contemplating life
In the dark
The equation with two x's
What does it mean
The endless enigma of life

Cryptic clues
That cannot be solved
The way of the World
And the suffering in it
And to be able to do nothing

All are sleeping
Drunk or have been paid
Or are getting laid
Or are softly asleep

All but me
A sentinel
In the velvet
Of the night

You Will Live Forever

My heart is heavy ~
You have left an empty space in it.

You will never be forgotten ~

Your humor ~
Your talent ~
Your warm heart ~
The caring and sensitive man that many didn't realize existed.

REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.

~ Our Cafe' ~

Our Café’

I wet a tear for a passing Connecting Singles Poet
who pleasured the many with his wit & comments.

A regular decent guy that thought in & out of the box.
He posted an estimate of 722 Poems on C/S.

~ His comments regarding his “Exotic Tea Brew”
& his hanging, swaying bamboo cages with wild women
on Café’s island ~ was entertaining to say the least.

It was a serial adventure awaiting the next chapter
& we awaited on the tips of our toes.

His ongoing chatter regarding comments about his poems
were enjoyed by most ~ and answered by many ~

Lucky are the few to be remembered so well as the
final curtain falls.

Café’ may your next act and adventure in the world beyond,
be worthy of a Poet such as you ~

Your friends on Connecting Singles and I will miss you
too!

once upon a time

Once upon a time I had a broken heart, it was like my soul had been ripped apart.
I picked up the pieces and tried to move on, and inside my head I would play a sad song.
Twice upon a time I had a broken heart, the second time around was no walk in the park.
There wasn't much left to pick up this time, there was just a small piece the size of a dime.
Third times a charm with a broken heart, there's nothing to pick up where do I start?
My blood turned cold like a haunting chill, because without my heart I have no will.

Oh Lonely

Oh lonely you have hurt me way too many years
Oh lonely why do you hate me
I wish you would just disappear

It seems my prayin' never gets through
Cause every night and day
Lonely I'm still stuck with you

I watch tv them my eyes get tired and I turn away
I could tell someone about lonely but who would believe me
No one did yesterday

I keep pacing back and forth in this little room
Oh lonely why do you hate me
I wish you would just disappear really soon
