Dead love

My heart is getting cold,
My tongue taste very bitter,
How can I feel love?
When I'm empty inside.

Truth to be told,
Hard to keep happiness,
I cannot smile or cry,
When love is just a dream.

Living Like a movie,
Neither romance nor a story plot,
Am I a hero or a villain?
At least they get to keep a girl always.

Love was and is lost,
My life an empty room,
God I'm feeling so old and tired,
Time to rest with broken promises.

The Sentimental One

Missing out on life even when I was young
And now it cuts like a knife
Into the heart of the sentimental one

I don't have a time machine
I can't fix an old old dream
And so I know the constant meaning of being stung
Just like a knife into the heart of the sentimental one

I can't move fast enough to get to where I need to be
And my only contact is someone called me
Memories of words I didn't say hurt upon the tip of my tongue
And words cut like a knife into the heart of the sentimental one

Somehow lonely made a gap and life took a nap
To wake up and wonder where are my friends
And sure as tomorrow begins night time will also come
And be like a knife into the heart of the sentimental one

The Quotes Garden - Starry Sky

“The Quotes Garden”

[ II ]

Starry sky

Oh, silent night, with endless sky,

In which I dwell my soul, again,

Across the light, when shadows cry,

Into an empty space, like grain –

And soon, under the moon, they die,

As if they try my soul, to drain

In silent fields, where soon they fly,

With me, my muse and divine rain!..

Oh, starry sky, you tell me why

Thoughts are spraining in my brain!..

In the silent moon, they dry –

And my heart, they quickly slain

When I ask if she should cry

Near me – and once again,

I die, with her, under the endless sky!…

The Quotes Garden - The Silence Of The Crickets

[ III ]

The silence of the crickets

My shadow falls, along the grass,

Where lovely crickets mourn,

Under the moon, with veil of brass

And clear dreams, from silence, born.

It seems I hear : “This too shall pass” –

O, alas! And yet, they sworn

That will protect my soul of glass,

But they just broke it, with their horn!..

They’re dropping down the bass

As if they hear my silent cry

That kills the moon, under the grass,

And yet – alas! They ask me:” why?!”

A cricket was my sweetest lass!..

When mourns with me, I think I try

To die with it – but silent, says:

“This too shall pass”

The Quotes Garden - Pale Moon

[ IV ]

Pale moon

I share my thoughts, with my beloved moon,

Alike a breath of wind, with silver leaves,

Who twists thy dreams, so soon…

And drops of sorrow, beneath the sleeves

Still trembling, in the night, amidst the tune

Who fills my grief, with silent heaves,

Embracing howls of trees, into the moon

Along with copper statues, over dusty sheaves…

O, my beloved, pale moon!..

I lay my soul, upon your silver grave

In which I find my peace, so soon…

And yet – I’ll be the only slave

Of silent wind, when cries of loon

Will tell you I was brave –

And thus along my path, their tune,

Amidst the faded dreams I could not save!..

Unraveled Cardigan

A Stinging blow
lay
to a hidden cure
natural light

friend or slight

stupid people
a rhythm of notice

slapped to a wall
slumber the derelicts
waif air

gripping laughter
can reign

but how many trains
what feasts
to scoff tonight

oh the metum

of tunes
laying in wait

sad
to be exposed

she cried

but i shall squash the tea cakes
and master the gorging of falseness

yet enjoy
the taste

How wonderful tasting!

Overcoming Depression

My days are long and my nights longer still
As I sit here watching this little pill
Will it remove the gloom I feel inside
Or will it just provide a chance to hide

When it wears off, am I back to square one
With an even greater gloom to take on
I have tried all the normal avenues
Yet I still continue feeling the blues

What is it that I really need to do
To rid this gloom and become myself true
Deep inside me, there's a fighting spirit
Saying to face this gloom and conquer it

Connecting with Nature provides an ease
Listening to the sound of a gentle breeze
While it's passing through the surrounding trees
Serenading them with the rustling leaves

I shall draw my strength from the divine source
In whose awareness I do not feel lost
I know I shall overcome finally
And once again my spirit shall be free

forgiveness

forgiveness I think is best.
life is just one big test.
even when I'm angry two
wrongs don't make a right.
I'm not one to anger or
fight. when I get hurt I
lash out. I have to ask
what's this all about?
times come when I'm mad
as hell. My broken heart
wants to scream aloud and
of that I'm not proud.
So I say forgive because
that's who I am and chose
to live.

Words

Words can warm a heart.
Words can show love.
Words often is a way
to start. Words will
settle an empty soul.
Words can cure anger.
Words will complete
and make you whole.
Words end anger and
makes peace instead.
Words can fill your
heart and head.
Words heal a broken heart.
Words are powerful and
A Blessing when used in the
proper way. Words help
to better understand.
Words are often able to
reach out your hand.
Words of three everyone
wants to feel and see.
Words souls need sent from
the heaven's above
are to say true, "I love You."

Dawn

How long can be a night
sometimes just a moment
but at times forever
dragging with every breathe
waiting for the dawn
that seemed so near
but still too far
yearning for the light
finding way in the dark
going in circles all the while
wondering why is it so long
why is it never ending
waiting for that dawn
standing in the dusk.
