Star Wars

Darth Vader is the best character in that movie franchise
Is the new guy going to be as bad?
It's like when Nellie left Little House on the Prairie
They brought in this new girl to replace her
She was bad, no doubt
But not as good as Nellie
Jabba the Hut was a fun character
He liked to feed people to creatures
Like that ant lion type one in the desert
Yoda was fun
Is he going to be in the new one too?
I only have a Darth Vader some where in my cupboards
I used to have a Darth Vader as a kid back in the 70's
I also had his fighting craft
It was fun pretending to be him
He was rich
He had a battle station that could blow up planets
What did Luke have?
The force?

About this poem:
I will see the new Star Wars movie on Saturday. It is the first movie I bought the tickets ahead of time. Some people have waited days to see the older ones. I am not that big of a fan, but I'm a fan.

Each time you sit at your computer .

Each time you sit at your computer .Wave your finger on your igonre the world,
And still more,
At this grand moment your thoughts were prosaic.
In the eyes of mine,
you will always be perfect.

Chronos

For every Swing of the pendulum a
Clicking of the pawl and ring, a tiny
Turning of the outer band Offset
Gears enclosed within
Ticking one sixtieth less in arc
Encroaching the next hour

Restless heart disquieting tone a
Clapping of the cymbal pans, the
Crisscross motion sticks to drums Four
Chambers charged for rapid bursts
With the last quake held in suspension
Distinct tho' distant Thunder Roll

Love 'im to pieces

no my for Pollen the Sip, All pout this, an you said so what We
gave of the flower and said it was ours. And then the little man
boink Broke into a million bits Still, at the toes of the blue, came
the bare bevels like a Rubix Cube about to be twisted for the first
time And yet, when all the present has been folded back into lonely Love 'im to pieces, feed 'im in a high-chair

while on the walls the clocks read noon

while on the walls the clocks read noon
of on while After that's aching Come I'm in as pain. true. it
in a box, and leave it behind a nice ox And I'd rather be grey,
but I can't speak for you. and then eat it and get the pox Grey
souls, Grey shoes I've even got grey blues. Finish the day with bagels
and lox We shouted "Turn down the music. It's too damn loud!" but
that and forgetteth where exactly i put it

There's nothing worse than your mom's thorns

There's nothing worse than your mom's thorns

only great big pointy spears!

A western wind has just been born

And I think this is all very tiring

The air is thick and hazy, and I, fleeing

a mosquito resting upon an eroding dock

this is time for you to get yor true love

You thought that you might have a chance with
this relationship. However, fate thinks
otherwise. Love was and will never be yours to
keep and even if you pursue further, there will
never be a happily ever after. Forget about
him/her and wait for a more suitable person to
step into your life.

About this poem:
The journey of marriage could be timeless,
then to be fore-warned of the bumps of it, is
to be fore-harmed.
Some years back, as I learnt, the witches in
Africa gathered and fasted for 200days just to
make marriages unsuccessful. One might ask,
"Why?" and the answer will be, "Because when
Marriages don't work, everything in the
marriage will follow the trail.
It is so pathetic and alarming how marriages
fail these days and we watch almost helplessly.
Like you have learnt, everything we do on
earth is a finished product of our choices.
Then as a single or engaged person, the Choice
of who to marry is something you should think
very well before you do.
As long as you want fulfilment in marriage,
listen to what I'm about to tell you:
How much of the Person and his/her family do
you know, before you plan to settle with Him
or Her?
Whether you like it or not, you should know
that there are Cursed families such that, when
you marry from there, you have signed for a
deal of misfortune.
A married woman told a close friend of mine
few years back, of the seeminly ruin she had
signed herself up for because of where she
married from. It happened that, any woman
who marries from the family will automatically
become a witch after the first birth. And that
was the Spiritual battle she began to fight,
even though she married a Pastor of a
renowned Church in Nigeria. She knew because
she was spiritually alert.
Another one. My brother was so angry few
weeks back as he relayed the story of a friend
of his. This gentleman married and suddenly
down the line, the wife ran mad. It was after
the incidence that he knew some other ladies
in the same family have the same mental
problem. But, it was too late!
I know you can quote scriptures for me, but I
will advice you that God should be the one
leading you, and then you must do spiritual
check-ups to know that your partner is okay
before you plan to marry; otherwise, you could
bite more trauma than you can emotionally
chew. God bless...
