Time heals all

Time heals
All
In time we heal
We forget what is real
Reinvent what we feel
To allow time to heal
In time
All
Must feel
That time is real

Life is hard

Life is hard and life is short
first your born and take a breath
the next your children mourn your death
your time keeps ticking on and on
and it dont stop untill your gone
so take your time and make it great
do not dwell on your mistakes
because that takes your life away
day by day

Follow Up to Poets Corner

It may be hard to do.
To write a poem to explain to you.
Everything is all to well.
Here at Poets Corner.
I wrote a poem in fun.
And sadly learned all to late.
That people would become undone.
And wonder about their fate.
I put in the" about the poem" line telling it was yours, your imagination.
To my surprise and lots of emails.
People did not know.
An imagination is not real.
And peoples fears started to grow.
I feel sad that so many thought it was true.
So I wrote a poem to apologize to you.
I'm Sorry.
Please forgive me.
And Poets Corner is what you want it to be.

About this poem:
Thank you to the very few who realized this was not real just an art form made of words and imagination. And to the rest I am sincerely sorry for making you think it was real. That was not my intention.

Pain leads to paradise!

I stand before you my heart in hand
Naked and defenceless I surrender to you
My thoughts were pure angelic and true
You took all I had, and then gave in return

Your poison arrows of bitterness and scorn
You gave so freely no mercy no morn
Never a mark left not even a bruise, oh, satan is your muse
I should have seen that demon in you

My wounds were fatal, for that life is done
I stand here now heart in my hand
Stronger than most in our sweet land
Yes I am lonely but thats been the plan

The journey continues guided by God
He gives me what I need most, forgiveness and love
You see I fail him daily, yet he blesses me so
I am no preacher or teacher, but I can talk from the soul.

About this poem:
I seem to write about sadness a lot, but I think true happiness and peace comes from our darkest times. It's really just about spiritual growth!

Breaking Free

The mind is a powerful tool,
It protects
Like a cage.
That secret,
Unknown for years;
Will be for years,
In solitude.
Without a trace
Not a memory
Of this secret they hold.
But when the mind is ready
To let go and release,
Memories of long ago…
Awaken inside.
Like a stab wound…
The spirit aches.
Like a prisoner,
Fear entangles,
Locked up for years..
Fear,
Anxiety,
Feelings never expressed,
Sentenced to silence.
Now they are free..
Free to be them,
No chains binding them down,
No bars to live behind.
Free to walk
On memory lane,
Free to share
Expressions,
Never spoken.
But what do you do
When captivity
Was a way of life?
Now you are free
But have molded
To living in chains,
Behind bars.
Freedom is like
A whole new culture,
A new way of life.
To explore and learn
This new life,
At times is scary.
It seems foreign
And a little uneasy.

Once the victim,
Takes one step,

Turns the corner,
Waving goodbye
To the prison in the
Mind..
A whole new person,
Begins to come forth.
Strength,
Wisdom,
Compassion,
Begin to arise…
Now they no longer
Are victims inside.
They are a hero that
Survived.
The trauma they hid..
Begins to come forth ..
Reclaiming themselves.
They are the strongest,
You will see around..
The most intuitive and
Enduring people that will arise
To Any occasion.
If they can survive
The memory unfolded,
They will survive throughout there lives.

Depression...I Hate You..

Oh how I despise you depression
You used to darken my world, leave me impressions

Of realities twisted and dark
You made me believe I was stark raving mad

I hate you for the lies you weaved
The lies that nearly destroyed me, because in you I believed

Twisted and evil that's what you are
But now I know how to keep you far

Away from me

Out of my life

Forever

I will never miss you

Falling Down

Work is demanding this time of year
I find it difficult to keep my mind clear
Hustle and bustle all through the day
Forty hours a week then you get your pay
I had a terrible fall today
the other people were laughing at me
what in the world do I say
I just cannot make them understand and see
We are a team and have to work like one
therefore it is not all games and fun
Working together builds good relationships
harmony and peace is a good thing
I have cracked my ribs
and bruised my arm
This is not what I go to work for
Safety is a good thing
God bless everybody
Work together in harmony
and make this world a better place

Missing Me

My many memories come to haunt... in sleepful hours
I lie awake..to think.. reflect.. and wish
Somehow..I could change it..and start again.
Sins are hard to forgive...I have hurt you..
I am sorry..so sorry..you were always true.
Needing me always more than I ever needed you
God help me..I need you now.
Mother...I am sorry..I lost the script
Every day I miss you...and then I miss me.

I am different from you

i am a thunderstorm in a quiet town

a hyeena prancing through a meadow, loud and obnoxious

i am young but my mind is as an adults

blue! like the sky above on a warm, clear, sunny day

i am southern in a north west life style

spaghetti with extra sause, like ravioli with extra cheese

i am my own self

unique like every flower

a rose, bloomed with thorns

a chrystanthemum in a feild of weeds

i am different from you

Purging

Got no time for you lady
Got no space in my heart
There is too much in my history
For anything to start

I will however seek you out
Like so many before
I'd like to love you for the night
Then i'd show you the door

I cant commit to anyone
For reasons i dont know
The door to my heart is shut
An wont allow me to grow

For this an only this
I would just like to say
I seek your forgiveness
In every possible way

If i could go back in time
An change things of past
It would be to open that door
An make my friendships last

But alas in doing so
Would also change me
For its the stepping stones in life
That sets the character to be
