Where, did my fingers go
Seemed they left, some time
Some, long time a-go.
Keyboard was ready
My mind knew it too
The pillow a writer sits on
Is near empty ink too.
The world went invert
Yet most not alert
The times have changed
Only little ears heard
While the tall ones deny
Put reality aside.
Most stuck with their hand
Hand in hand, with their phone
Umbilical cord
Don't f*ck with my zone.
Common sense out the window
Them windows are filled
Into society, streets,
Laden ill.
A red light is green while a crosswalk's
a joke.
Was the vax and the jab
Worth the scabs on your knees.

What a phoqued up world and way too many just sit back and say nothing. Then point fingers.

looking down ............fingers dancing
no chance .............of eyes romancing
focused on.............. what your doing
totally committed ..to what your viewing
a nod a wink and.... even a word i'd say
if you gazed your eyes ......upon my way
but in your world.......... you only see
how broad.......... is your connectivity
lost you are........... in your surround
lost you are ............to whats around
the warmth.......... of a generous smile
a nod and ............a hello worthwhile
simple pleasures................ i adore
always new .................never a bore
open your eyes...... and then your heart
let the world in....... for you to start
to see life.............. in every shape
colourblind........... and an open plate.........

For decades he has been in prison in his own mind
His past haunted him, smiles left behind
Emotionally tormented, several months locked away
Negatively affected his career and health, the price he pay
Frequently traveling overseas
Fraudulently using aliases
A gifted artiste that sings
Fled what drug sentence brings
No more evading authorities he outline
Extradition contest he decline
Did the crime, serve the time, gained knowledge
Now he’s busy signaling his crossing of the bridge
Singing Nah go a Jail again
He strongly proclaim
Ready to get his singing career back on track
So relieved that the proverbial monkey is off his back

Its actually crazy
How things slowly become hazy
Its cool
I've been there, been that fool
But now its all done
I'm smiling again and feel whole even with no-one
I'm finding my feet
Bit shaky but I'm stable and concrete
Im not sorry for letting go
It was best before you become my foe
I'm ready to be out there again
Just a pity you choose not be a friend

About this poem:
This poem is about me - letting go and getting peace after a divorce - no anger no hatred no blackmail just contentment and peace within.
Although my ex wants absolutely nothing to do us (me and the kids) - we embraced the situation and moving forward - wishing him good luck with his future.

Undone.
the debilitating Dismay.
Unraveled.
by this wicked Pain.
Underestimated.
my own Strength.
Undeterred.
from Journey’s promise.
Unwaivering.
Revelations in me.
Unexpected.
this Heartfelt twist.
Unbridled.
stirred Passions breed Joy.
Undone.

It took me a long time to understand,
That true forgiveness comes by, from remembering my past.
To forgive those that have hurt you, and become their friend,
Means, that you are the stronger one, the one who will last, till the end.
To be forgiving, is not weak,
Nor does it mean you are or have to be, humble and meek.
It's love for the right things that you value within,
Because you know, each time you forgive, you become oh so much stronger, deep within.
So how can you forgive and release yourself?
From the pain that others have caused?
Easy.
By remembering,to others, what you have also done.
Eh? Que? I hear you say, but I have not done what others have said!
Haven't you?
Are you really sure?
Noone is perfect, not you nor I,
But in bitterness I REFUSE to die!
I will die with dignity, with LOVE in my heart,
Not hatred and bitterness that can tear me apart.
Don't you want to be strong, and release you? From all the hatred that binds you?
Why live in anger when u can live in love?

She laid broken in a heap.
Her eyes staring straight forward.
One arm twisted completely off.
And a leg crumpled behind her.
There was a horrible stench,
Where she had lain for so long.
Her once beautiful blonde hair now discolored.
I picked her up with tears running down my cheek.
I had searched for her for so long.
I had given up all hope of ever touching holding her again.
And now here she was.
My heart felt heavy as I lifted her gently in my arms.
I held her close to my face wanting to remember her feel.
We had been through so much. Her and I.
Closing the door to the old worn out tobacco barn.
I knew they might tear the old barn down.
But my memories of her would never fade.
I carried my little dolly that meant so much to me as a child to safety.
Where the destruction of the barn could begin.

No more my footsteps in the snow, No more the guidance I can show
For the time has come for me to pass, to a place where footsteps have no past.
As the winter fades and the summer comes, and my footsteps melt away
The marks I made that winters day, will forever stay.
The pain you have inside your heart, filled so complete with grief
Just shows to me inside my heart the truth of that belief.
Where I have gone is where I belong
With my husband of so long
So do not weep and do not cry
For as I know; you will get by.

About this poem:
My mother died New Year’s Day and she was quite a renowned poet in her younger years. We all forgot about this until we saw these poems. However I cannot understand them as it takes a special person to write and understand them.
I need to write one for her funeral.
I have put something together and was just wondering about your thought s on it. It is not complete but advice would be gratefully received.

I'm a sinner
I'm a sinner, was and always will be
Not by choice but weakness sometimes reign over me
I seek not your judgment but if you must
Please lay out the truth and don't be so harsh
I don't wish justification for my weakness
I only wish to earn for your forgiveness
And when it's time for me to lay down to rest
Say a little prayer for me to earn His forgiveness
Note: I wish to live a life that's sinless but we're human, flawed and imperfect. It's far easier to fall from the path of righteousness than not. While our intentions may always be to do the right thing, we somehow become weak. I try to follow the path of being good and live according to His will.
Having said that, I humbly seek forgiveness to all of you my friends and relatives with whom I have come short of your expectations.
So help me God.
I humbly submit my will to You.
Amen

I walked into a world of diversity, easy to see, do you agree?, is it you
or is it me? You don't like what I write?, should I stop? or ignite a new way
to be? to read without criticism, can you see? This place is for words that
are heartfelt and meaningful, no matter what you write, it's right, for you, a
place of freedom to be, to say what you feel, without the fear of reprisal, if I
say black, it's my black, I don't need you to tell me there is white, I know,
life is life, you are you, and tomorrow may be,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lets see.
