THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXXV ]
*** Red rush ***
“Where the roots
Hide shells
- And the ferns
Twist wells
Out of
Their shoots,
- Lil’ springs
With strings
Make turns; –
*** Root ***
Yet, the dwarf
Musk deer
Quick learns
- To have
No fear,
- Brim stones
Slow morph
In fog
Old seer; -
*** Root ***
There the frog
Jumps near,
- To the wharf
A sphinx, -
Sun flares
In the spear,
Red rush
On the boat,
Who sinks; – ”

[ IV ]
*** Glisten ***
“If one
Has ears
To hear
Its heart,
- In peace,
Finds rest,
For there
A nest
To tears…
*** Root ***
There are
No fears,
For those
Who know
To feel;
Walk slow,
Stay still, -
To shield
From spears; -
*** Root ***
Right yield
Is when
Each poor
Gets rich,
While kings
In all
Their might,
Fall small,
Kneel, healed; -
*** Root ***
What shines
A pearl, - ?! -
Each dew
Of earth,
More bright, -
For sky
Brings light,
- When sun
At sight!..”

*** Trails ***
“Three snails
Search lore, -
With each
Small slip
- In depth,
Count stones,
Roots, leaves, -
Smooth, steep,
Bright trails…
*** Root ***
None seem
To ask
Where paths
Will meet,
Nor task
To gleam
On straths
In heat,
At dusk; -
*** Root ***
None seem
To tell
What right
Or wrong,
- In sight,
Their song, -
But for
How long
Will last?.. -
*** Root ***
Take heed
Of all
That is
A home; -
What do
They need?
Stay low,
- Then hear
Their call; -”

*** Motion ***
“Could you
See through
Dew drops? -
Dim shades
And sparks
Of light,
Bent curves
To wraps
In sprite, -
*** Root ***
Here, low,
Pale stones,
Shrink sight
Of hues, -
Trees bow
To write
Their rite,
While cones
Spread cues; -
*** Root ***
Up there,
High brims,
Where clouds,
At peaks,
Catch flight
To dance
On clues
Of blues
In trance, -
*** Root ***
All but
A flow, -
In each
Of them,
A muse
To grow,
From stem,
- A stream
To fuse; -”

*** Chirps ***
“Old monks
Came close
To hear
My birds; -
Hearts dwell
In love,
When springs
Of tears
Seek life; -
*** Root ***
Such bliss,
To have
No fears!.. –
- No words
To shove,
To sculpt,
In wood,
Or stone,
Burnt tears; -
*** Root ***
These birds
Are free,
Like what
Is Thee
To me, -
No cage,
No chain,
No whip,
No sword, -
*** Root ***
For each
Tight chirp,
A tune
To heal,
To mend,
To care, -
I climb
Their stairs
And feel; -”

*** The good will ***
“Keep find
Right path
To what
You are; -
World looks
So strange,
For all,
With time,
Will change; -
*** Root ***
To be -
Is verb
Of life,
- Thou art
A spark,
To lean
On fate
And sing
Thy song; -
*** Root ***
To live, -
At strife,
What is
To win,
To loose, - ?! -
Thy heart,
In weaves,
Must see
It clear, -
*** Root ***
No speech,
If rife,
Will give
Right sense,
For truth
Of what
World gives,
Is just
A glimpse; -”

*** The silent teacher ***
“World sink
In noise, -
All seem
To scream
Dark times,
Chains bind
More evil,
- Slaves, bow,
Kings, rule; -
*** Root ***
Could you
Find rest? -
Tides come
To shore,
Waves wash
Dull stones,
Thoughts sail
In squeaks,
Their weave; -
*** Root ***
All but
A dream; -
You strive
To live,
With lies,
Through fears,
Then cope
With tears; -
Soul, dies… -
*** Root ***
What is
So sad? -
Each then
Must feel,
To learn
From deeds,
For good,
Like light,
Breaks evil.”

*** The Edge ***
“Just hold
This stone;
Whole earth
Could fit,
To bind
Thy mind,
But more,
Sky has
No limit; -
*** Root ***
Dull edge
Gives shape
To change, -
These rocks
Felt rains
And storms;
Each crack
Bares signs
Of Time; -
*** Root ***
Sharp edge
Makes sense
Of what
You hold, -
Deep sea,
High peak,
Waves, weaves,
Of same
Known core; -
*** Root ***
Thy self
Still search
New ways
To rise,
For bright
Must be
That soul
Who knows
Each edge.”

*** Dunes ***
“Foot steps
On sand;
Marks reign
Where winds
Blow dust
To fill
Such waste
In stirs
Of flute; -
*** Root ***
Sun sets
A path
From east,
To south,
White hawks
Hunt close,
Weird flights
Soar hopes
For peace; -
*** Root ***
Deep eyes
Sink in, -
Dunes weave,
Like grains
Bend gems
On rays, -
Swift, sharp,
Chimes call
Raw winds; -
*** Root ***
Can you
Feel thirst? –
Who could
Give price
To life. -
If not
Same soul
Who knows
To heal?..”

*** The song of the birch tree leaf ***
“This leaf
Knows what
Is love –
Shares the bliss
When buds
Like twins
Cheer the spring
With chirps
And odes; –
*** Root ***
Here comes
The shy mare
To stir
In waves
The smell of
Meek grass,
While bright
Birch trees
Play knights; -
*** Root ***
I know
Not less,
Nor more –
But all
It takes
To write
Each song
For one
To miss – ”
