life

my life began in poverty
new clothes and things were not for me
not for us the things of wealth
you wanna bike build it yourself

life was hard but we went on
we played outside sports and so on
we made good friends and stuck together
no matter what we found some pleasure

I had two parents one good one bad
and thinking back this still makes me sad
but these things moulded me you see
helped make me be the man you see

looking back I came through ok
some friends didn't I`m sorry to say
but life goes on and now I`m freer
and my aches and pains mean I`m still here

LOVE BLEEDS

Last night i shot an arrow, deep
within Loves soul and made Love bleed
And now the price i truly fear
that Love will go away from here

Oh Love .. how can i take your pain
and drink the blood that i did drain
I'd give my soul
I'd give it twice
If I thought it could pay the price

Last night I shot an arrow deep
within Loves soul and made Love bleed
And now the price I truly fear
that Love will go away from here

Oh Love .. if you do not remain
I'll never breathe a breath again

Last night I shot an arrow deep
within Loves soul and made Love bleed

About this poem:
This poem is about confession and forgiveness ..
About how we sometimes hurt the ones we love, and plead for forgiveness.. Hoping to regain our place of " Love " once more, in their hearts.
About how a woman (me) fell from grace.
In this case I was speaking to the God of my heart ..... GOD himself, because God IS LOVE and the expression of the Truest and most Pure Love in all its forms.
The " Arrow " represents the hurt or injury that I had incurred on the other individual, GOD.
"THE PRICE" to be paid, is a life without Love, Without GOD, whose son Jesus Christ, was crusified and hung on the cross, bleeding to pay the price for all the sins of mankind.
In this poem I had denied GOD ( My Sin ), and was pleading for forgiveness.
To " Drink The Blood That I Did I Did Drain", Is to take communion, to partake of the blood Jesus Christ shed on the cross for the sins of mankind.. to take back the denial. To repent. That I will not leave Love bleeding, to have been crusified for nothing.
" I'd Give My Soul, I'd Give It Twice " is to offer up what is most valuable in a human being, what is the most valuable of me, and the only sacrifice acceptable .. My Love! My Soul!
" Oh Love .. if you do not remain, I'll never breathe a breath again " means that without Love and Forgivenes , I will surely die.
And Finally, to repeat the very first verse of the poem again, is to confess my wrong doing.

Wayward light

The hourglass sifts down towards the bottomless undertow. The heart beats faster than what has ever been known. The soul shakes to the sound of the aftermath. The world turns until it burns and crash. As you lay in the wayward light falling into a dream. Decent into the emptiness of the stars as they beam. Into your eyes a darkness Fades into tears. Bringing your mind to the worst in life of all your fears. Creating a moment and in that moment it's an eternity. But in that forever moment the night has shown us rain. And in that wayward light those feelings though bottled up hurt for only just a day. One day the hurt will be gone as I look at the golden haze.

I am a Rose

I am a Rose
A beautiful fragrant rose
Kiss my tender petals
Inhale my fragrance
Suck my nectar
But don’t trample my heart

Because,
Then…
My tears will be a flood
That will flow drowning you
My sigh will be a storm
That will blow crushing you
My thorns will pierce your heart
Till you beg my sympathy
Kneeling down in front of me

"Cuddled in you"

Once
it will not be you
not me
and we will be.
When breathing
would be breathing
and the pulse of strokes
will become even
with clock sound.
When the thread desires
weave the net
spider threads
and the night with a lantern
of light sinks
the calm of the stars.
I will fall asleep peacefully
cuddled in you
on the sheet
fragrant
memories of the night.

WILLIAM WINTER 1792 Last man to hang in Northumberland

Fear gripped his heart
ripped it apart
His trembling limbs
had knowledge of his sins
Hanging was the game
Survival was plain
nonsense he knew
So right on que
he the last one
swung on the gibbet
until his bones and flesh rotted.

THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD

Embedded image from another site

To walk into the outdoors with eyes of wonder
Seeing nothing but adventure around the corner
Something different to explore and see each day
To look at everything as fresh and new to play

Everything looks bigger – more beautiful and new
Never bored – always something exciting to do
Looking wide eyed at all the fun and beauty around
Pretending to be a Prince or Princess with a crown

Boys with swords and a new Dragon to slay
Girls with long jeweled skirts – different every day
Boys fishing with their hands and squealing with glee
While girls kissing frogs hoping for a Prince to see

If only as adults we could be as carefree
Always seeing something new – happy and free
To look at the world through the eyes of a child
And be able to enter each day with a happy smile

knock knock..

knock knock..
It's time to
listen to your
heart!
This scene is
gettin' old
It's time to
be bold!
It's time for
a brand new
start!
Are you willing
to do whatever
it takes
Have you courage
enough no matter
the stakes
To break through
the wall that
blocks your way
If this speaks
to you then
start today
Mabey one big
move might do
the trick
If that won't
work then you'll
have to pick
Between tiny steps,
but at least make
one
It's better than
rotting..better
than none
Step out-break
through-break free
today
Forget about your
fear or what others
say
Cause when tomorrow
comes and you're
still stuck
You can lie to
yourself and blame
it on luck
" Hero's die once,
cowards die daily"
Prepare for battle!
No evil fights
fairly!

Thinking about what sacrifices we might have to make to make real changes for ourselves. It doesn't always have to be extreme measures..but sometimes it does..

The Day of Infamy

On that infamous day that we shan't forget
They slaughtered the innocent without regret
They planned and schemed to destroy and maim
As they packed the explosives aboard the plane

With rabid minds and thoughts to kill
To murder and mutilate the thought did thrill
To lay down their life and become a martyr
With terrorists ideals they thought were smarter

With innocuous lives they sacrificed in spite
As they proudly and fatally boarded their flight
The lives they'll shatter, the havoc they'll wreak
The innocent they’ll slaughter and kill the meek

The whole world watched transfixed again and again
As the towers they hit with commercial planes
Our hearts went out to the ones who were left
Devastated lives worlds shattered, bereft

Christian unity and spirits combined
To aid the bereaved who were left behind
A rallying cry that resounded and called
To the civilized world who watched appalled

Many heroes emerged from the destructed site
They sweated and toiled without respite
From this tragedy the human spirit soared
From all over the world the assistance poured

The brave and the frightened joined like steel
Emotions were high the determination real
They worked shoulder to shoulder until they dropped
Still more replaced them, they never stopped

A stark lesson was learnt that infamous day
That the instigators of death would not get away
We promised their lives would not be in vain
We’ll hunt them down until none remain

The unbridled hatred and vicious odium
From these killers that spout from their evil podium
So be forever watchful and take this lesson to heart
Make the message clear, never again you impart

Our time on this earth is as brief as a breath
So no more wasting the time we have left
For the ones we love can be blasted away
So cherish each from dawning of day.
