The happiest and saddest day of the year
Celebrated by the broken hearted in tears
Year after year waiting for your loved one
Cupid’s arrow always passing by with none
Those deeply in love embracing the day
In their own private world of sunshine rays
Red roses – candy hearts with cute verses
Loving kisses in their own universes
Each having their own dreams of days ahead
Some dreams granted – while others in shred
Here’s wishing everyone happiness this year
Spending it with someone you love most dear

About this poem:
Valentines Day can be a beautiful romantic day for those in love. But for some it can be a heart wrenching day - especially for women that men pass by year after year.

I sure have sweet thoughts of
You & Michigan:
Couldn't sleep
Home was calling loudly!
Have been to "your area"
several times
Still swirling in my memory bank of Michigan a big slice of
Heaven on earth from God:
A precious, dear spot in my soul: engraved in my heart for eternity
Where the glaciers dipped out big holes that filled w water up to 50 miles wide Mmmm ...
the potential of a great friendship of like minds:
many great MI memories:
boulder park subdivision an architectural feat
big mammoth boulder rocks weighing prob tons: in the design where the roof tops w a special design blend in w Mother Nature in swirls of brown shingles in the tree lines in a cool sub division, charlevoix going over a bridge like a lions den growling below haha..., petoskey stones, Great Lakes, Macinaw bridge, Macinaw Island famous Jane Seymour & Christopher Reeves Love story ? Title somewhere in time?
fall leaves fav, lovely Christmas evergreens picturesque winter scenes w snow beautiful as a Christmas card! The trees in Alaska not real ones in Michigan full lush white pines blue spruce in the winter swaying in the wind like a "Lady's dress with white frosting lush n cream" Mmmm ... divine
Memories of moms nurse Maxine saying to me: "you'll be back!"
I said, " how do you know?"
Max said, "you love it too much to not return!" Home calls me home much. But it has just not been the right time: maybe in the somewhat near future: I will become like a salmon swimming upstream, fighting the current w all my might to return home, to find my mate, prepare a nest in the sand bar with pebbles and join my mate there
Swimming Divine, soothing our souls w refreshing water, equally yoked sublime family commeraderie, sublime teamwork:
Hands that love because they want to not because they have to:
in the kitchen, bathroom, hot tub, bedroom suite, master bathroom built for two, natural Lighting from the windows, a view of the trees or lake, bigggg tub designed for two: candles & warm water Mmmm ..., pool,
morel mushrooms,
dads garden & cabin,
Family adventures, stories, miss fresh produce, tomatoes, sweet corn,
Fresh tender asparagus yum!!! Fresh soft cookies,
Big blueberries, orchards, fresh donuts w cider in the recipe no frosting needed piping hot warm, apples, berries, cherries, blueberries, black cap raspberries, luv red & golden, black walnuts, black sweet cherries, Mac. Island fudge, vernors cream ales', Indian trails that r now highways, cities names by Indians: Cheboyagain, Petoskey, Gaylord, Detroit, Flint, alpena, long lake sunsets, need to publish adventures, swimming in spring fed ponds, custard ice cream dipped in choc divine,
Michigan shaped like a mitten seen from space:
One can say I am from the "thumb" area pointing to their palm hand referring to above the fingers for the petoskey area, or fm the upper peninsula land of sunsets,
Lake Superior, agates, refreshing swimming, over 11,000 lakes, home calls me home to beautiful memories
Treasures in my soul
That I greatly miss
Just need one faithful honest man to make the equation endearing, lovely, enjoyable teamwork
Gods design of
love & companionship,
Loves fresh vegetables plentiful at the summer produce mkt, do you garden have fruit trees?
Miss beef steak tomatoes & cottage cheese decadent' much
A poem was brewing in my head about u & Michigan I couldn't sleep much, along w that we have had a deep snow fall which is rarely
An occurrence here
here - prob 8-10 weather warnings have landed in my email over the past many days
Bet about 12-18" of snow "literally snowed in till the plow man can make it - he must be swamped w requests"
*Snow I think is multi purpose:
best part long needed precipitation due to drought last summer & maybe its Gods way to slow down the world to peace & quiet to home & family and a nice big pot of home made soup simmering piping hot w any kind of fresh bread sure miss "Betty Crocker buns!"

Crystal bright sunshine, replaced by grey
Doubtful skies, replace sun's bright rays
Temperature drops, humidity forgotten
Heat respite, warmer clothes not cotton
Over-shadowed skies, reduced activity
Farmers need rivers, to reach capacity
Brown rolling hills, need rain's coating
Cracked-dry land, needing a soaking
Yet we struggle, when day turns dull
Nature's cycle, must refresh not kill
Day of heavy rain, is what land requires
Moisture gift, better than drying fires
After rain, crystal raindrops dazzle-shine
Maybe a rainbow arch, will be a sign
Nature, does her best to balance-share
Changing our outlook, lavishing care

The raindrops battering the windowpane!
The loneliness escalating my heart's pain !
I pace! I pose ! I wonder !
Lightening ripping through the dark clouds that thunder!
Wish he was nearby peeping through the windows across the avenue
A glimpse is all I long for to give my lonesome heart a clue!
“He’s here, he's here," my heart would whisper!
Wish he was next to me in my room so cold, so poor!
The looks in his eyes, the locks of his hair and his smiling face!
No one I marvel more THAN him for an engaging gaze!
His enchanting voice, his magical touch would have me deeply induced!
Forever I would have myself locked in his arms warmly embraced!
