A Call To Prayer

Listen to the church bells ring
In the tower by the town's square
Just listen to the joy they bring
The familiar hymns make all aware
When all the earth shall sing
To the love of dear God we share

When you ring to tell us time
As we wait we all will find
Our ears will count each chime
Subconsciously in our mind
The hours of each day sublime
Getting through our daily grind

Through the seasons we shall pass
Be comfort and content that will last
Resonating from bronze or brass
Ring mementos from our past
Children playing on the grass
Parents working by contrast

Whatever were doing seems to halt
When the mighty bells ring out
We will stop and listen by default
And wait for time to bring about
Each precious moment we exalt
Those great bells we never doubt

About this poem:
We should all be so reminded of the "peace and love and stability" we all need to share together,
as frequently and regularly, as the bells that ring from the church towers.

Fairy Tales

We live in a land of fairy tales
Old and new

And from the mouths of Kings and rulers
Every deceit spews

In religion there is a happy end
And in New Age we just ascend

On the World Wide Web
We can focus on the next celeb
That’s playing the evil Lucifer

Or, should we just elect Jeb
And become
A dynasty connoisseur

Of stories, paths and roads traveled
Hopelessly unraveled

While we keep the status quo
The truth may well be

That some fairy tales just blow
We should agree

Really light up and rearrange
Rework change

The paradigm has no end in sight
Riddled with continuous ‘fright or flight’
Time for a rewrite

What to do on planet earth
Ah…visualize rebirth

Simply unplug from the matrix
All the ideologies and tricks

Make your own world
Neatly knitted and purled

With threads of silver and gold
Be bold

Don’t look back
No backtrack

In your own fairytale you are the Knight
Keep moving toward the quintessential light

Because if you don’t have a dog in the fight
Unplugging is right

Nothing in this world to fear
Just tell ‘em “I’m not from around here”

Live a life of happily ever after
Filled with gobs of laughter

Cut the strings of the puppeteer
Then simply . . . disappear

Into the fairytale reality you create
Because, it’s going to be absolutely great!

War

Tyrants, ogres and ghouls
Witches, warlocks and fools
Parading throughout history replete
Preying on humanity and the weak
Enforcing laws and rules as they speak
No man or woman mandating insane claims
Has the right to proliferate nefarious games
Where all people are the enemy of the few
Hunted, accosted and trapped like a shrew
A reckoning is coming and it’s on the rise
All foretold by the ancients and the wise
Monsters, dragons and demon beasts
Supping on life blood in ritual feasts
Know that the ending of delusion is soon
The giants are heavily knapped and hewn
By angelic armies powerful and strong
Hurled into the fire where they belong
The egregious villains are destined for hell
Ending the stronghold of their cursed spell

Soul

The soul began without any man, it's true, twas not me or twas not you,..we are the creation of imagination, tis all it can really be, who was before the creator of all, who can see, who can prove anything else to me? Our god is good full of piety, loves all, not bad to see, thats how we live,,,, full of stupidity!

Break Free

Oppressive western civilization
Must assuredly wither and die
Creating a world of beauty and love
That sees with third eye

These worldly possessions become
Our burdensome prison
Shorn, the body and soul are in
Natural harmonic unison

Sailing through infinite space
On pure love as our provision
Brilliant grids of energy can be
Seen in psychic vision

Dimensions of existence and
Mental clarity free from chains
Spiritual journeys to Summerland
Traveled upon the astral planes

Wishing to break away from
Earthly realities and strife
Souls peer into mirrors viewing
Reflections of abstract life

Achieving esoteric knowledge
To hold, embrace and discern
Lessons of this life are given
In universal love to learn

Seeking to rise above mental shields
Ideological beliefs revolving
Around concepts of netherworlds
A continual eternal trek

Life passes in somber processions
Rising in scarlet crescendos
Playing through our minds as we throw
Emptiness into burning infernos

Breaking free is an act of turning away
And embracing the excitement
Discernment sees the universal elements
Of what is real in our enlightenment

Rising above the great rain shadow desert
Meeting in mid air the angelic hosts
Empowered with pure harmony
Like the oceans hug the coasts

Float Away

At the end of the night
It’s just you and I
My cold indifference grew stronger
If only your touch made me feel alright
We’re seemingly islands apart
If only we were running down the terminal
To catch the last flight
Destination unknown…
Can’t wait until morning
I’ll drift off to sleep and forget
Wake and feel nothing at all
But these numb feelings can’t be held to the fire
You’re all I got and my true hearts desire.
I’m not letting you go….
So everything I have… I’ll bare
Dancing away all regret and fear
This night might be mundane
But It’s all we got
We might be ordinary
But together we spark
Tonight is however we want
Tonight, together, forever your flame
This night was agonizing
Until we floated away….

About this poem:
Lost love, dead marriage, loathing her husband and pretends to love him for that night and drinks herself to sleep until she floats away. Grasping at straws before the final end.

Privacy

If only privacy existed
if only I could be unlisted
if only I had more time
if only these chains felt fine
I would break away in a heartbeat
but reality’s a creep
the chains are dragging across the floor
and killing my feet
Chaos all around
No order ever found
If I could run I’d hit the ground
Never looking back
Never being found
Living forever in a private compound.
But that will never be the case
Every eye is watching me from every face
if only I could leave without a trace.
But I’m found
I’m bound and tied and beating to their drum
Finding myself never felt so numb

Flat

If flat earth is where it’s at
And round globes are actually flat

Contemplating that and this
Upon the heavenly stars we wish

Those luminous balls of plasma
Enchanting us with bright charisma

Those ley lines that are crossing
The earth like fine linen embossing

Then there are the monumental pyramids
So majestic and mysteriously spirited

And unexplained megaliths and monoliths
Is this some shrouded geopolitics?

Were ancients here in dire peril?
Seeking an outer layer sclera?

But we have been distracted.
Our brains completely protracted

Artifacts are cries for truth
Not a search for a fountain of youth

It’s very hard to fathom
Or even try to imagine

The depths of such deception
Of such a calculating inception

To keep mankind down
Just keep them going ‘round

We are to be the seeker
Not delusional and weaker

If knowing the truth is better
Then open up that sealed letter

Tell us all the mysteries of time
Not silent movements of pantomime

Entities that work so hard
Treating mankind like bits of shard

We’re done now don’t you know
Not deserving of the free throw

No foul by us committed
Only truth we want admitted

If you think this has been an accident
Perpetrated for humankind’s amusement

You’re so dead wrong
And it won’t be long

Until you hear, “we’re not playing ball anymore”
It’s all the lies and cover-ups we deplore

Know that truth will ultimately prevail
Then the elites are going straight to hell

Oops, I mean jail! (Same thing)

Raindrops

The day was gloomy from the start
Mirroring my empty broken heart

Tendrils of agony twisted and clawed
Underneath the deep gray bitter fog

It seemed like it was only yesterday
That everything was mere child’s play

And as raindrops fell in sharp staccato rhythms
Again I yearned for sounds of familiar drums

Only hearing tinted silence in a doleful refrain
Shutting out the melancholy of incessant pain

Regret beset my mind in density of a copse
Isolated within the twilight clatter of raindrops

The Clock upon the Wall

The clock upon the wall keeps ticking
In a slow procession of beats
The cars parade out on the streets
Sitting lost in silent thinking

The world has changed irreversibly
People now moving in fractured sync
Afraid to cough or even blink
As their lives become more beastly

For most it's just a continued misery
Seeing no hope or reason now
Not seeing the depth of the trickery
Nor even asking why or how

Life has changed for everyone
Inscribed in the minutes ticking by
Measured only in the overrun
And, still the people don't ask why

Solutions abound for those in control
They're drunk on a powerful drink
All the people bow down and shrink
Having lost their voices and human souls

Freedom is fleeing from all mankind
Life's normal now orchestrated to appall
In the malicious lies fabricated to malign
Measured in the ticking of the . . .
. . .clock upon the wall
