what difference a year makes

Can a year in your life a difference make....Is it the same as to throw a stone in the lake....The ripples spread out it would seem never ending...Or is this just another year pending....What would i want the the difference to be.....Perhaps solve every problem for me....But it could also be the end of the end....And drive me round the bend......To old for change no years difference do i need...Only if the difference would mean our world we could feed...But as usual when we humans are put to the test....Its not the difference but the indifference where we fail the test........jw

gentle and kind

I listen to my heart beat beat beating away.....But my head will not listen to what my heart has to say...Why are my head and my heart at war?....Why barr my way to loves door....My head says wait my heart asks why.....Lifes to short i want love before i die.....But my head wins the battle once again....And my heart suffers the pain.....I wonder when this will end...Because its driving me round the bend...So if youre out there lady gentle and kind....Please come to me and save my mind......jw

Lonely girl at the club..

She takes a sip and
flips her hair
She looks around to
see if anybody
cares
Twenty years of breaking
hearts
Now she's old and wants
to part
She stares at herself in
the bar room mirror
The truth stares back
as she gulps a beer
'To hell with men she
blurts without shame..'
Give me a chance and I'll
do the same..'
She pulls a pistol from
inside her purse
Watch her now as she plans
her worse
She fires off three rounds
and everyone ducks
'I'm nobodys fool and you
men are nuts!
Two more rounds and the
bar tenders' dead
Only one round of death's
sweet lead
But before she shoots a woman
stood close
She said,'I'd like to make
an evening toast..'
But would you mind telling
me what book you've been
reading..'
You seem so engrossed and
you're expression intriqing'
'Oh, yes Mamm, I'm just
waiting for my mommy'
We're waiting for my daddy
and his name is Johnny..'
So my mommy gave me this book
to read
It's about a lonely woman with
and evil seed..'
You can join us for dinner
and bring your hub
Mabey you'll read
Lonely girl at the club~

Crazy Man

I met a crazy man
in the park
He mumbled and jumbled
His words were dark
But there was a gleam
in his eyes which I
couldn't discern
Was this just madness
or was there wisdom
to learn?
I smiled at the man
not wanting to offend
I made my departure
never seeing him again
Many years passed
when one day I was
awakened
In a hospital I sat
with my memory so
shaken
The doctors said,' I had
lay in the dark'
'It was I said they, who
was crazy in the park.'~

Equal pay for women

15 cents a day and
no bathroom breaks
Yes, we wanna be
your slaves
Please grind us into
the dust of the earth
til our dying day
Crack that whip accross
our backs
We'll work from dusk
til dawn
We'll even eat those
nasty slugs that slither
accross your lawn
Sure, we're just women,
but what is that to you?
You're to busy writin'
that list of extra chores
to do
While your out with your
buddies and we're bogged
down with work
Us ladies in the office
elected you Super Jerk!
You're pathetic ego will
never accept we're every
bit your equal
Perhaps our red high heels
accross your back would be
a fitting sequel
That fistful of change you
flick at our feet may help
you sleep at night
But your wake-up call has
just struck twelve and you're
in for a hell of a fight!

Poem #3

Poem #1 was
just a joke
It could never
reveal the facts
Poem #2 was not
much better than
a ball of crumbling
wax
But poem #3 might
reveal that smile
I've longed for all
my life
When in nervous
anticipation I ask
you to be my wife~

On the thresh hold

On the thresh hold of
a forgotton dream
Thinkin' bout what that
might bring
Something burried deep
within
Time has come to begin
again
The endless tide won't
wait forever
Time to rid this word
called never~

Write me a poem

Please write me a poem
about your kiss..
Make it something I'd
really miss..
Write it short, write
it sweet
Let me read it the day
we meet~

Her Hue of the Color Blue

She will take a rumble on you
Until you come up a shade of blue
She wants you to be, to fit her hue,
Of the color blue…

She knows what she wants
And is not afraid to flaunt
How easy it has become
To take another on the run.

She finds you intriguing to a degree
Stopping constant motion to be free
To incorporate your essence
She must turn your presence

Into the shade that compliments
Her hue, of blue, in increments.
Resistance is futile for you to even breach
For she has entangled your psyche to reach

Your subconscious mind; even while awake
In her webs of magick and energy lakes,
That trip you up everywhere you go.
Every time you try to break her hold

The hobble tightens enough to cut off the circulation
Of air around your third eye in complete exaltation!
As she knows she has found her long awaited blessing
A miracle in her soul mate finally in this life, joining

Her own,
And as one
Indigo Flame
You and she
Will dance
Into eternity…

'Twas the Night before Yule

And the snow is falling...

Beneath the pine fronds of green
The solstice circle lay still and serene
The Yule log of oak
Alive with fire and smoke
Cut at dawn on this midwinter eve
With libation of bread and of mead.
Its fragments kept ‘til twelfth night
Were scattered about at first light
In the ancient forest of trees
Ashes offered in the chill breeze.
I was ready to pack
A long winter’s nap
As the clock struck twelve on the wall
I heard the knock on the front door fall
Upon opening the door
I froze in disbelief for
In a suite of red there stood a stout man
With rosy cheeks, white beard to land
On me; twinkling eyes and a melting smile
“We need to talk, can I come in awhile?
The holiday spirit is the reason
For this and every season”
And before I could ask why
How in the world did he fly?
I was covered in gold glitter
Changing its color to silver.
It smelled of pine and chestnuts
Like a crisp wind and grandma’s hugs
Fuzzy new mittens and mistle toe
Smiling faces from years ago

Twinkle lights softly aglow

I realize that Santa Clause
With peppermint and rum balls
Had brought back to life
In my heart this night
The essence of giving
To me memories of living
In the magickal world of love
Kissed with frosty shapes of
Sugar and gingerbread
Softly he then said
“Don’t forget the cookies and cocoa”
With large snowflakes dancing to and fro
Sleigh and reindeer put on quite a show
Pawing at the moon kissed new fallen snow
His message to bestow as up went the sleigh
“Blessed be, Merry Yule and Happy Holidays!”
