Conscience

Just as I ponder on my thoughts
I feel uneasy to comprehend
For life itself is a struggle
People say only the fittest will survive
Am I one of the fittest?
Have I been the cause for someone or something to lose the chance
To survive in this world
To sustain myself?

Just thinking of it makes
My bowels turn n churn
Oh I feel so uneasy
It's really difficult to comprehend
As life means all things
Great and small, birds and fish
Fowls and bulls and goats
Oh the list goes on and on.

Float Away

At the end of the night
It’s just you and I
My cold indifference grew stronger
If only your touch made me feel alright
We’re seemingly islands apart
If only we were running down the terminal
To catch the last flight
Destination unknown…
Can’t wait until morning
I’ll drift off to sleep and forget
Wake and feel nothing at all
But these numb feelings can’t be held to the fire
You’re all I got and my true hearts desire.
I’m not letting you go….
So everything I have… I’ll bare
Dancing away all regret and fear
This night might be mundane
But It’s all we got
We might be ordinary
But together we spark
Tonight is however we want
Tonight, together, forever your flame
This night was agonizing
Until we floated away….

About this poem:
Lost love, dead marriage, loathing her husband and pretends to love him for that night and drinks herself to sleep until she floats away. Grasping at straws before the final end.

Privacy

If only privacy existed
if only I could be unlisted
if only I had more time
if only these chains felt fine
I would break away in a heartbeat
but reality’s a creep
the chains are dragging across the floor
and killing my feet
Chaos all around
No order ever found
If I could run I’d hit the ground
Never looking back
Never being found
Living forever in a private compound.
But that will never be the case
Every eye is watching me from every face
if only I could leave without a trace.
But I’m found
I’m bound and tied and beating to their drum
Finding myself never felt so numb

Soul

The soul began without any man, it's true, twas not me or twas not you,..we are the creation of imagination, tis all it can really be, who was before the creator of all, who can see, who can prove anything else to me? Our god is good full of piety, loves all, not bad to see, thats how we live,,,, full of stupidity!

Break Free

Oppressive western civilization
Must assuredly wither and die
Creating a world of beauty and love
That sees with third eye

These worldly possessions become
Our burdensome prison
Shorn, the body and soul are in
Natural harmonic unison

Sailing through infinite space
On pure love as our provision
Brilliant grids of energy can be
Seen in psychic vision

Dimensions of existence and
Mental clarity free from chains
Spiritual journeys to Summerland
Traveled upon the astral planes

Wishing to break away from
Earthly realities and strife
Souls peer into mirrors viewing
Reflections of abstract life

Achieving esoteric knowledge
To hold, embrace and discern
Lessons of this life are given
In universal love to learn

Seeking to rise above mental shields
Ideological beliefs revolving
Around concepts of netherworlds
A continual eternal trek

Life passes in somber processions
Rising in scarlet crescendos
Playing through our minds as we throw
Emptiness into burning infernos

Breaking free is an act of turning away
And embracing the excitement
Discernment sees the universal elements
Of what is real in our enlightenment

Rising above the great rain shadow desert
Meeting in mid air the angelic hosts
Empowered with pure harmony
Like the oceans hug the coasts

Money I've Spent on Christmas

It all started around 1980
I got my first money for Christmas shopping from muskrat furs
At about five bucks a fur
I cashed in around 40 of these to get around 200 dollars to spend
I had my mom and dad
My nephews Shane and Aaron
My brother Rich and Deb
My grandma
My brother in law Rick
My sister in law Marge
I continue to shop for my nephews with Casey and Adam added in 1982 and 86
I do all my shopping on November 1
This leaves me the rest of the holiday to focus on Christmas music
Christmas decorations and movies
I have gotten my money from mowing yards, aluminum cans
making cheese, washing dishes and pans, making fast food
Teaching kids, shipping bacon, and making muffler parts
36 years so far of Christmas presents
My favorite from 1982 I got was a stereo
The 8 track is the only thing that still works on it

About this poem:
Just thinking back to all the Christmas presents I have bought. My favorite ones were for my nephews because I could get creative and have fun with it. I got a game one year where you pull boogers and try to keep the brain from popping out of the head.

In search of a romantic lady

A man who is romantic
With a sense of humor that is fantastic
He is too honest
To admit he is no modest
He is loyal and faithful
He is pleasant and delightful
He is considerate and thoughtful
However, he is slightly poor
For him material things are unimportant for sure
He has one last chance
To enjoy the magic of romance
A woman of substance, could it be you?
Who would make both your dreams come true

BEHIND A LOOK

Eyes that don't lie ...
feel their sensitivity.
Mouth that shut up, in the silence of a while.
Heart that feels pain, cries a fate.
Tramp being, lives in the inertia of a world,
where the images that surround you! ..
they are pure in heart, naive in feeling.
Your feeling is the eyes that speak, spring in a tear.
Beautiful nature to the eyes that close,
decode you with a simple smile,
I do not let this impossible desire escape the instant.
Heart, your beat accelerates.
Thought that you make me wish ...
hope your eyes live in the springs of tears,
I don't see you but I feel you in a chest.
Dreams that live with the wind touching my dry face.
Frosted from the look or mist of nature,
hide passion for a plural.
Disown me or bless me,
behind a look, my being.

Corona

The Corona Virus

On Earth there is a virus,
A plague that’s called mankind,
It is of course the human race,
The blind led by the blind.
They fought for Gods of money,
showed every kind of greed,
And wanted more of everything,
Of things they didn’t even need.
They poisoned all the oceans,
And all the land and air,
Religion taught them nothing,
Most people didn’t care.
A madness gripped the people,
Like nothing seen before,
A selfishness unheard of,
Every group wants more.
And boys were girls,
And girls were boys,
Insanity reigned supreme.
They forgot our Earth as mother,
In their dystopian world of dreams.
But a mother has her limits,
We all had pushed too far,
In desperate self-protection,
Her anti-bodies streamed,
She had to kill the human pest,
That all the rest may live.
Number one is the beginning,
And number nine completes.
And nineteen is the number,
With which she must try and defeat,
The human virus killing her,
Our Earth beneath our feet.

About this poem:
I think it's pretty evident what the poem is about. Before the coming of Christianity, the Earth was respected and revered as the great mother. Chritianity taught humans were above nature instead of part of it. The belief system was forced on the people who were forced to abandon their old Gods.

How Much Loneliness the Truth Can Cause

How much loneliness the truth can cause
When even the night is filled with stars
And just for a moment the universe will pause
Equally deep inside my head are memoirs
The lush green grass of a summer meadow
The soft circling curves of a gull in flight
Painted on a canvas as rich as Van Gogh
A row of painted ladies dancing into sight
From far away and back against distance shores
I watch the passing clouds changing forms
Reminding me once again these fanciful tours
Also darkening at times and passing storms
When oh when will love again be sitting by me
That I can reach up and touch her falling hair
Cascading like waterfalls and little ribbons be
All the colors of prisms and rainbows flare
Such is the brilliance that a star can make
With just the right distance and space
Such is the destiny that my life shall take
To continue on this journey and life I trace
Carefully trying to keep what's center in focus
Such that life is only a true balancing act
Where one misstep from a dream that woke us
Is all that guides us between real and abstract
