The Last Leaf

Walking in the autumn sun
A touch of cold in the air
Waiting leaves one by one
Fall to the ground unaware

Past the white picket fence
Nothing can stop their fall
Downward will commence
The last golden kiss of all

Tossed in a growing breeze
They tussle with our mind
As gentle as a feather please
Will rests with all its kind

Till a gentle snow will come
Pressing and matting down
Begin to fade and glum
Will soon become all brown

Then only a few still cling
Such that rattle in the night
When a soft breeze bring
An end to all their plight

Covid-19

For us the disease came and went, a short war,
six weeks we hustled around the house
making pies and scones
the birds in the garden
knew nothing of the contagion
nor the autumn trees
from an endless summer
few cars in the streets
unplugged
all tuned out
save the occasional broadcast
saying the numbers were less than yesterday
all fine in God's acre
the universe just washed us clean

May you receive the same soon..

Family and friends poem.

Religion is the act of attempting to map out a path to achieving consistent spiritual goals. Unfortunately, religion has sometimes fallen into the hands of some wacky people. If someone comes to you and professes to be able to solve your problems by some religious or spiritual path, beware! Life will always be difficult. There is no one that can wrap you in a cocoon of religion and save you from all negativity. Religion has been used for good and evil throughout history. Make sure you're on the right side.

About this poem:
Our world has been polluted with religion,
The more religion we have the more problems we have However, religion is a good thing. How possible can it be to have one global community?

Movement

Vibrations pulse with a quivering cargo
Creating a rhombic magical flow
Some days fast others slow
Tick tock to and fro
Rise up and go

Shadows of white light luminous glow
Dancing twangs of a staccato banjo
Precision pounding of the bongo
Sync with magenta Bordeaux
And a luscious gateau

Strength in the multitudes of resonating macro
Formed in the firm stable base of a dado
On shoulders of giants from long ago
Life’s story as an evolved bio
As above, then below

Movements ending the linear time will show
Coalesced synchronicity in blue indigo
Loving embraces of a trusted beau
Gone the past we used to know
Tick tock, we move, we go

Counting

counting days in somber dreams
wildflowers, butterflies and bees
the truth of this fallen world
just takes me to my knees

counting money and pennies
bonds, stocks and trusts
all games played by the elites
despicable venues that disgusts

counting lives that are destroyed
in laws, mandates and evil plans
sly and deliberately deployed
blood dripping from their hands

counting the ones still standing
with pain, sickened and lost
a war of lies against the people
and our freedom has been the cost

counting days until we awake
knowing, living and well
for love, peace and blessing
is our natural state to dwell

This Old House

The old white house upon the hill
Holding past memories that linger still
Stained glass windows faced the park
Soft gaslights that glowed in the dark

Built at the turn of the century
In a different era from our memory
An historic legacy from those passed on
Embracing simplicity in a time long forgone

In the back a garden of Iris's grew
In the front were Lilies and Daffodils
Violets and Impatiens filled the windowsills
Adding a colored ambience to the outside view

An old wooden swing hung on the porch
A perfect pondering, peaceful place to perch
To watch the passersby on the street below
And sip wine while you contemplated Thoreau

Days were spent engaged in a joyful family affair
With lawn games, books, wagons, trikes and bikes
Children’s giggles and laughter filled the air
Full of love and personal likes and dislikes

Memories bring tears as they come flooding in
Visions of a life lost in the passages of time
Remembered in lines of this rhyme
All that was and could have been

Lives lived in time within the muraled rooms
Looking back to all the remembrances we own
Games played in costumes, dolls, balloons, bubbles and cartoons
The precious memories of that old house lives in our hearts as home

Wishing for a solitary moment somehow
That it could be the past, here and now
Healing parts that need to be whole
While strengthening our souls

So It Will Grow . . .

For a relationship to last without losing its glow,
as far as I feel and, late in this life, I know ...
I need to connect intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually
so we grow in the same direction ... at a same pace ...
and thrive with mutual happiness and compatibility ...

Those connections are the glue
to keep you from growing apart...
which if it happens later on in life,
will once again break your heart ...

Attraction is the spark
but the connect is what will survive through the potholes in the dark ...
and everything else that will challenge that bond
through time & circumstance
if the foundation is weak enough to give it a chance ...

And so that's why we can't settle for second best ,
no matter our resolve may often be put to the test ...
Best to pursue that which has the makings to last,
than settle for one with mere momentary sparkle
but will fall short when it comes to that hurdle ...

Confronting the Now

When we fell asleep last night
Did we wake into a world of fright?
Falling down a rabbit hole and then
Our lives and freedoms literally stolen

What phenomena occurred whilst we dreamt?
Were the evil serpents sent?
To conjure up the lot of us
In stages that are just treasonous

Our voices cannot be heard
Lines of insanity are now blurred
Why has the heavens fallen
And our hearts and souls called in

Silence gives permission to the not so pure of heart
Sharing the truth to rise above must have a start
When we stop fighting for a life that is free
We accept the heavy hands on the control key

For what give rights to some and not others
Forbidding reaching out and touching our brothers
Rulers come and go not without a battle
Rise up and put an end to the psycho babble

Look deep into the eyes of peace and tranquility
Knowing this is the true state of all of humanity
Contemplate truth absent of monetary gain and forbid
Succumbing to the false agendas made up by the wicked

Plunging deeper into a life of plandemic control
Becoming lowly victims in a chasm that takes its toll
Breaking free should consume our every thought
Because freedom’s fight must always be fought

“I know but one freedom and that is the freedom of the mind”

French writer, poet, and pioneering aviator

About this poem:
My writing expresses experiences from many cultures around the world that I've had the pleasure of working and living among and listening to their history, stories and struggles as well as in my home America. I fight for the freedom we all are losing everyday in the current fervor of fear this is my mission through writing.

Confronting the Now is the battle cry for the revolution that is sure to come.

GOOGLE, Why are you for art thou in our life?

Google, I don't really appreciate your ever present place
Quit trying to get up in all my business and my space
You must think that you're so big and just "all that"
When all you really are is invasive, pushy and too fat

Dial it down a notch we don't need you for everything in our life
Yeah, you are useful, but come on, you add to a fair amount of strife
We are in control and dismissing all the ad clutter is getting tiring
What we really want to do is some good old fashioned quitting or firing

Give us a break we're not all invalids, dependents or shopaholics
Oh, we're not using all the latest apps? Just some more sneaky tricks
The apps come with advertising and it is redundant and too much
Keeping us in over choice not to mention your sticky tentacles and clutch

Oh, Google, you were and still are the best of times and worst of times its true
As you've grown too big, too smart and greedy that we can't even bid you adieu
Yay, we're in a love hate relationship based on monopoly and necessity, its funny
Ah! It's the future! So we better put on our thinking caps and follow all the money

War

Tyrants, ogres and ghouls
Witches, warlocks and fools
Parading throughout history replete
Preying on humanity and the weak
Enforcing laws and rules as they speak
No man or woman mandating insane claims
Has the right to proliferate nefarious games
Where all people are the enemy of the few
Hunted, accosted and trapped like a shrew
A reckoning is coming and it’s on the rise
All foretold by the ancients and the wise
Monsters, dragons and demon beasts
Supping on life blood in ritual feasts
Know that the ending of delusion is soon
The giants are heavily knapped and hewn
By angelic armies powerful and strong
Hurled into the fire where they belong
The egregious villains are destined for hell
Ending the stronghold of their cursed spell
