Longing ...

How I long for your skin against mine ..
the feel of your roughened fingers
that tenderly caress so divine ...

How I long for those lips to bless every inch of my skin ..
Yet in so doing, touch me so deeply
where you have never been ...
Cradling me in your arms like a baby,
but as your woman ..
So comforting and assuring that from then on, in turn ...
you will always be my man ...

How I long to take you in my arms ,
as I lay all bare for you to see ...
As you look so lovingly at me,
nowhere else I'd want to be ...
And as you gently fall into my embrace,
and love me passionately with body and heart,
till I lose track of time and space ...
Just as you it immensely gladdens
to see me on pleasure's throes ...
So it also warms me to witness,
you in such raptured bliss
only a truly loving man knows ....

Tucked away into my memory
and embedded in my heart,
I long to smell your scent
For that's just how my loved one
to be remembered, so lovingly meant ...

It has been abused and used
for less noble motives or reasons
But I will always hold to its truest ideal
through the passing and changing of seasons ...
When in making love,
a man and woman share their innermost physically ...
and join together emotionally ...
not just for that instant or moment ,
but to deeply be two of a one
with all devoted commitment ..

Like a dearly loved possession
one never tires of or throws away...
No matter the yrs that have passed, it will forever stay ...

Not Afraid Anymore . . .

I am not afraid anymore
to accept and embrace what Fate has in store ....
Won’t hesitate anymore
to say and show how much I can love & adore ....
A leap of faith I take, for my whole being
has been marked to its core ....
Your name in me, to keep I swore ....
Never to take for granted
so it goes out the door ....
Like you, I’ll grab this chance
that has come to shore ,
Not willing to lose it,
should it slip away ....
to return no more .....

The Last ...

Little did I realize ... it was the last hug ... the last kiss ...
Whenever I look back, it is something I will still miss ...
Though I've become much wiser , more self certain ...
and stronger to deal with whatever pain ...
there will always be some trickle of sadness,
from what could have been but never again ...

I know so well that there are people meant
in our lives to merely come and go ...
Difficult when feeling but eventually,
I realize and know ...
That even if it rains instead of bringing sunshine in,
and sighing from what might have been ...
One good it does is show me,
that whatever my heart needs to weather ,
if I end up losing one or the other ...

My deep well of love exists without question ...
Survives ... regardless of
many a disheartening condition ...
To comfort, to inspire ...
not to forever lose its fire ...
That even though unrequited,
not enough reason
to become hardened or embittered ...

The Girl in Me ...

Even though I've lived through my own lot ...
Tried, loved ... and lost several times,
though broken down ... but irreparably not ...

And yet , it amazes me still ,
at this my age ...
Seeing your pectorals wiggle,
my eyes just can't disengage ...
Can't help but let out some involuntary giggle
like I would have done
when I was decades younger and single ...

Still, I'm glad there remains
a bit of that girlish naivity that shows ...
Not hardened and embittered,
but can still with candidness
curl up my toes ...

Perhaps it contributes
to not really looking my age,
who knows ...?
I'm just somewhat glad I can laugh silly
and not worried that it shows ....

Grandma

Grandma's rolling up the tobaccy
the afternoon always bringing a truce
from the cussin'
for Grandpa's down in the pump-shed
messing with the lines
water tomorrow he says
all there in the soapy tubs
and Grandma'll let him
sleep half a day
'for the cussin' starts again
'bout how lazy he been
so me and Grandpa'll
go fishing
down on the river
and he'll tell me over
how he shoulda married
Grandma's sister
but all said and done
life just run like the river
boiling over the rocks
'til you released
into the sea

Light Within

A light within that glimmers knowingly, yearning for the night
To take an aura of presence within the air, as the owl spreads,
Her wings, eclipsing the brightness of the moon, we know
That the world around us as we know it is ending soon
As the pangs of sadness wash over us, as we stand together
In the same light that yearns for the setting sun, we know that
Together, the world's conclusive internal battle will indeed be won
Our world, my friend, is not as you know it, yet, the twirling tide
Of emotion shows the way forward is lit by golden flares, of
A fiery glance of defiance by the one that silently dares, to try
And with the owl's vision, we will make it, beyond the battle of fools

And the disillusions of an enchanted vow, that spoke volumes
Of a silent frown, that enveloped the world in a sense of doubt
That made us all wonder what's allowed, allegedly, the control,
of a fearful reality that has been reborn into existence,
where love holds no boundaries except in the distance, where there is but only resistence.

My friends, who are reading this may not always see the crypticness in riddles of what might be, but guaranteed,
All you can do is be the change within and to make that light glow with warmth that stands true to you, show them your strength of who you are too,

be the warrior that is seen as the best, know in yourself that you are no longer fearful but fearless, to try and shine a light in a very dark world, even when, at times

You want to wade through the challenges to find yourself, and those challenges make yourself want to curl, within your being
Within the part of you that's you, be strong, my friend, always be true! And its time to resurect the reality too!

Flat

If flat earth is where it’s at
And round globes are actually flat

Contemplating that and this
Upon the heavenly stars we wish

Those luminous balls of plasma
Enchanting us with bright charisma

Those ley lines that are crossing
The earth like fine linen embossing

Then there are the monumental pyramids
So majestic and mysteriously spirited

And unexplained megaliths and monoliths
Is this some shrouded geopolitics?

Were ancients here in dire peril?
Seeking an outer layer sclera?

But we have been distracted.
Our brains completely protracted

Artifacts are cries for truth
Not a search for a fountain of youth

It’s very hard to fathom
Or even try to imagine

The depths of such deception
Of such a calculating inception

To keep mankind down
Just keep them going ‘round

We are to be the seeker
Not delusional and weaker

If knowing the truth is better
Then open up that sealed letter

Tell us all the mysteries of time
Not silent movements of pantomime

Entities that work so hard
Treating mankind like bits of shard

We’re done now don’t you know
Not deserving of the free throw

No foul by us committed
Only truth we want admitted

If you think this has been an accident
Perpetrated for humankind’s amusement

You’re so dead wrong
And it won’t be long

Until you hear, “we’re not playing ball anymore”
It’s all the lies and cover-ups we deplore

Know that truth will ultimately prevail
Then the elites are going straight to hell

Oops, I mean jail! (Same thing)

Raindrops

The day was gloomy from the start
Mirroring my empty broken heart

Tendrils of agony twisted and clawed
Underneath the deep gray bitter fog

It seemed like it was only yesterday
That everything was mere child’s play

And as raindrops fell in sharp staccato rhythms
Again I yearned for sounds of familiar drums

Only hearing tinted silence in a doleful refrain
Shutting out the melancholy of incessant pain

Regret beset my mind in density of a copse
Isolated within the twilight clatter of raindrops

Games of Chance

The machines lined the labyrinth in rows
Lights, colors and animations all posed
In endless arrays of enticing sounds
Like children on turning merry-go-rounds

Some people can barely walk or breathe
Still coming in and taking seats beneath
The neon altars of chance, money and vice
All gathered together like a nest of mice

The draw of the elusions and a sum to win
Keeping the people in a polarized spin
Roundabouts in sheer tidal waves of hope
Not aware they are on a slippery slope

Participating for points to keep a status
In the all encompassing apparatus
Designed to become your new home
From its shadows you will not roam

Perceived as a beacon of true light
Serving the lonely slaves by night
Souls the darkest demons possess
Each slap of the buttons causing stress

Endless sounds of screams and elations
Winning money to calm the agitations
Still they file in like going to church
On a never-ending quest and search

Looking for the missing links in their life
Placating the unbearable internal strife
Never looking up, never seeing the above
Their misery resides in a lack of true love

I Wish I Were A Robot

I wish I were a robot
With full metal parts
Built with sensible forethought
Even including loving hearts

Covered in modern, stylish clothes
Hiding an inquisitive que vive form
From my head down to my toes
Creating the perfect storm

The superpowers are awesome
With only one tiny little concern
I couldn’t take any direct sun
But, that’s the only downturn

I’d be almost perfect
Precision all the way
With a run away intellect
And foul villains to slay

At work I would be unstoppable
Much to everyone’s chagrin
All my parts would be swappable
Except my heart, buried deep within

Yes, if only I were a robot
Yet, I am thinking the unthinkable
The only better idea I got
Is to be completely invisible!
