Einem alten Märchen (A Fairy Tale Of Old)
Snow you return to us again
Schnee, du kommst wieder zu uns zurück
winter's grip seems to retain
Der Winter hält uns weiterhin im Griff
like out of a fairy tale of old
Wie aus einem alten Märchen
a certain spirit sere and cold
Ein gewisser trockener und kalter Geist
that comes with you the snow
Das mit dir kommt, Schnee
one that here no one knows
Jemand den hier niemand kennt
is when you will pass for sure
Wenn du mit Sicherheit geschiehst
for spring is far off in the future
Frühling ist weit in der Zukunft
until then the fir tree evergreen
Bis dahin die immergrüne Tanne
here in all its ageless sheen
Hier in all seinem zeitlosem Glanz
stands the forlorn hope we sing
Singen wir von verlorener Hoffnung
to god we pray to quicken spring
Wir beten zu Gott, dass es bald Frühling werde

You're pulling me down, you're dragging it out.
Pulling my hair, and tearing me down.
Scratching my back, throw me all around,
But I feel so…
Sickened to stomach, I can't feel this. Don't want to lose it, but I can't quit.
Can't control me, can't control you. Locked in a house, just in a room.
Eyes locked now. Screaming loud. Tearing me away, leaving no trace.
I, I know you. I, I've seen you. I, I can feel you…
You're pulling me down, you're dragging it out.
Pulling my hair, and tearing me down.
Scratching my back, throw me all around,

Upscale quizzical. Lightning strike powerful. Rushing through my veins, made from everything.

Though it may seem only judgment in psychology
I'm really assisting The "Body" in it's assimilation of "nutrients"
in THE SPIRIT,you see.
The rational thought process;opening our attunement to the influence of our divine nature
Being on "the wheel" in THE WILL,
with my rewarding honorable Harp gift
you can see the ripple effects are working out a cure as we all experience the Last Days' shift!

"Empty Mirrors"
Years have been passing me by
After a painful silence and undesirable hindsights
Who has taken you so far from me?
Surely you keep your excuses...
Longing to meet you even if i am still lost
No compass, nor North
Floating in the dark
Frosty summertime...
Starting over again, but afraid and shy
Growing older, chasing fireflies and firelights
Genuine feelings... Shall it be so! Shall it be!
Hurt before and so that preventing abuses
You know i have done my utmost
However, there are renewed vows from now and so forth
Wish hope for both of us... A forgiver spark
Please set us free, inspiring rhyme!

About this poem:
At the time of this writing, I was feeling very remorseful to a young woman I was in communications with. The poem may sound misleading as if I had been unfaithful but that wasn't what I was trying for. I was not trusting enough when I was speaking with this young woman, and I realized how accusatory my words chosen were. I was uncertain of her honesty, and I lost her favor. I wrote this as an apology.
Heartbreak
How I feel is hard to explain,
causes me too much pain.
I choke up, my throat throbs,
If I speak, then I'll sob.
I don't want to go over,
what happened back then.
I don't want to remember,
what happened back then.
I don't want to think,
and I don't want to ache.
Or I just might sink,
after trauma makes me shake.
I was literally driven insane,
days and days of being crazed.
You treated my love as only mundane,
You'd hear me cry and never be fazed.
T'was better we went our separate ways,
the love we shared turned to pure hate.
In a grave is where our memories should lay,
Not a long enough life for our hate to abate.
Nope, not enough time for mistakes to fade,
not enough magic for those days to be unmade.
And after so many years...
It's still too soon to feel okay,
and still too soon to love again.

CURRENT!
It's buzzing all around us,
In a never-ending stream,
Electronically digitized transmissions,
And blinding fiber optic beams,
Messages, emails, texts,
TV and the like,
Radio, cellphones, computers,
Microwave saturation blight,
Bouncing off satellites,
Marauding thru outer space,
And it all passes thru us,
On it's highly charged race,
Technology is wondrous,
But what's the real cost?
I'm afraid one day soon,
Our brains won't be the boss,
Worship.......
the CURRENT.

Most poems I title after they're written. But I've carried this title, and idea, around for days not receiving the words to express it.
Meager Reason ND
I took a trip to Meager Reason, ND
A place where the gold shore meets the pale Tasman sea
There the deep ocean fills with synergy
And tides crest just for me
Until the edges of the beach are left foaming.
In this great place of Meager Reason, ND,
Melodies played and all the dances were free.
Eager punters shouted "Five on the three!"
Lazy days began and ended happily -
Born of greetings, smiles and spontaneity.
Not really a place, but a space, between we
Of like-mindedness, shared interests (so far, three)
I'm waitin everyday to see if you and me
Can go back to the place, can get back in that space
Oh! Meager Reason ND.
Mmm, Mmmm oh where can you be?
Can the weeks you've been gone be an eternity?
I know you're real - Google searches told me
Of the times you were a boy, drummin, banging keys
And that song that you sung? My smile is all teeth!
I've got the giggles...'cause I loved it.
So, when's the next trip to Meager Reason ND?
Space in your mind, for a time, just for we
You know it will do until I can come see
If those eyes are true green,
And those lips that look sweet,
Are all that I hope they can be
Say soon! Meager Reason ND.
