You failed to watch the videos, any videos One rioter was carrying a Confederate flag. What government was he supporting? Tell me the gallows was only a joke.
1) I don't read chancer's blogs, so I cannot comment on anything he said or posted. 2) I believe Trump wasn't the mastermind of the scheme. It was planned out for him and he got what he wanted. I always believed Roger Stone was the key figure in the planning. Before the vote, he was on video stating not to accept the outcome of the election. New evidence surfaced to confirm that.
Either way, it was an attempted coup against the American government.
No. Not possible. Take the latest indictment. For one second, if Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis tried them on fake charges, she would lose her job and the whole thing would be a mess, not to mention how it would reflect on the judicial system.
Nearly a year since I wrote this blog... FOUR indictments later. Trump is still on the grifting/campaign trail. Anyone else facing a single charge of this magnitude would be sitting in a jail cell awaiting trial.

4 months into the 'new' car it's no longer new. Compared to the Toyota Corolla, it's heavier with a longer wheelbase so the ride is nicer. Less interior road noise and comfortable seating. Horrible gas mileage in city, but I beat the EPA ratings on the highway. Probably due to the additional horsepower... it has changed my driving habits.
Didn't China send a lunar craft taking high-res images of the moon? I would have thought there exists photos of our landing site. Russia also made a claim and now India is on the list!

Regarding Mar-a-Lago recap, Trump had his valet Walt Nauta move boxes into various areas. Nara keeps presidential archives and requested he returned the documents. This went on with Trump and his attorneys for months. Trump continues to complain about the search that he calls a raid. They arranged a day and time to have his attorney present. No secret. Trump goes on record about having clothing, personal items and memorabilia he needed to go through. Yeah... he had more than a year to sort through the boxes.
Complaining about Biden's boxes was meaningless as the majority of documents were before he was vice president and not covered on the presidential archives. Anything they was found confidential was immediately turned over. The same from Pence who was found to have some classified documents.
None of this would have happened if Trump would have complied. Instead, he instructed Walt to move the boxes, more than once. Some went to his house in Westminster and some on his jet where agents didn't have knowledge or a warrant to search either of those 2 locations.
So there were lies about the whereabouts of the missing documents. Walt moved boxes back to Mar-a-Lago and Trump's attorney witnessed this.
Later, Trump realized all of this (illegal) activity was on surveillance video he got Carlos involved to see the help of their IT guy to remove the footage of their actions.
Trump was no longer president and in possession of classified documents. A recording came up with Trump showing someone (probably at a party in the Westminster location) and actually discussing the documents were still classified and that he cannot declassify them. This was another strike against him as a lie to the statement that he still retains the right to hold on to classified documents.
Walt and Carlos are connected to this... they appeared on video.
So... anyone who has a different story will have to explain it to the court as the indictment was for all 3 men.
While Trump claimed to know many things, he actually had little knowledge of many and BS'ed his way through. I kinda liked his ability to forecast hurricanes and dispute the national weather service. "Category 5? I never heard of one"
He was always the best at everything and surrounded himself with the smartest and best people.
We used to have a member who was good at facts and figures and supplying charts. He would have been able to talk about inflation figures.
So be it.
There is talk that Trump could actually be imprisoned and get elected. I question the logic of voters. He did lose the popular vote... twice.
I don't know if self-pardon comes into play. If the latest indictment sticks, pardons don't work for that offense.
That lead will likely decay. Trump supporters are getting a reality check. Four indictments and he's using campaign funds to fuel his legal expenses dating back a few years.
Other than his constant social media tirades and complaints during his rallies, what will he give America to make them want to elect him?
Something better and cheaper than Obamacare? A secure border wall that Mexico will pay for?

Speaking of pickles... On Sunday, I went to lunch with friends at a Jewish Deli. Before the meals arrived, they brought out some rye bread and a plate of sliced pickles. The bread was good, I avoided the pickles.
No problem. Indictment #4 in Georgia that was announced late last night may change some of his calendar appointments. He's got until Friday at noon to voluntarily surrender.
