Oh SellOne, that is awful! And we never hear those stories. Wonder why? There are probably many more like them, but we just don't see them covered on the news, that would be bad for business. So we instead go out and buy big SUVs and waste waste waste. The more we waste the more they drill.

I am still friends with ex boyfriends and my ex husband as well. Some ex's though had no interest in keeping a connection. I figure in those cases, the purpose of the relationship has been fulfilled and there is not enough left in common to be of value to either party.

Blain!!! Are you having a bad woman day? Yikes! This response and the one on the Bubbly blog would suggest that you are pretty ticked off at us.

Did you know that gurus do date and even marry? They are called householders. And presence is important. If you don't want to do anything but buy your girlfriend a gift certificate to a shoe store and 99.99% chocolate (your words)as an investment in your relationship, then you are better off being alone.

I think it is perfect to be independent and also interdependent. It is the way this world works anyway, may as well go with it.

I don't think Drea meant to imply that if one is in the technology field, they don't have any other talents. She just thought you looked artistic more than geek like...maybe

I enjoy creative pursuits of all kinds and I am a bit of a techy as well (though nothing like someone who works in the field). Love all the newest tech gadgets and enjoy doing graphic arts stuff. I am also into metaphysics, so I am a hodge podge of all kinds of weirdness and that's just the way I like it!

Glad you are blogging Inwestend. Hope to read more from you on other subjects as well.

There is a difference between Harvey Milktoast sensitive and in tune and present sensitive. One is emotional, the other is "here now".

Emotional men are a pain in the rear. I'm not saying they can't have emotions, I just mean the ones that are as dramatic or more so than the woman they are with. Two many chicks in one relationship then. Though, if the woman carries more masculine energy it may work.

I like a strong man who is able to be with me when he's with me. Men who spend the whole evening talking about themselves, looking for a fight, distracted by some game on a TV in a restaurant, etc....are bores.

If you are such a nice guy then why didn't you honor her need to not see her mother? There must be something lost in the translation between what women think is nice and what you think is nice. If someone doesn't want to be pushed, don't push them. It's called respect. I think most women's definition of a nice guy is that: a man who respects her.

Hi Kasih!

I like open hearted men. I don't know if sensitive is exactly how I would characterize it. I like a man who can just be himself and not guarded and armored emotionally. Men have been brought up to "be tough" so it must be quite confusing to them when a woman comes along who appreciates them even if they are appearing to not be strong.

There are people of both genders who love drama and have no emotional detachment at all. Those are the people who make everyone crazy. They just don't realize that they cause all of that drama they claim to suffer.

So an open hearted man who is physically strong or not, is a turn on. I'm sure men appreciate women who are open hearted as well. Seems like a human thing more than an gender thing.

And no one appreciates the drama over reactive types for too long. Takes too much energy to hold them up!
