I agree. And people unlearn the rules as they get older, weaker and more desperate. Experience seems to break more people than it makes.. at least on CS. I've seen middle-aged "adults" on here that make teenagers look composed and wise to the world.
I wouldn't necessarily say that. That belief is stronger amongst people that like to pretend to be scientists for an afternoon, those that are being clever for choosing the "right" answer, not the actual scientists themselves.
It's a good way for the Conservatives to lose the next election.
Anyway, the funeral should be marked by citizens clashing with police in riot gear. Which is what she would have wanted. A really fitting tribute to her. We'll never forget you Margot Thatcher.
I'd just like to add that the children of people who don't condemn her today should be the first to be sold into Chinese concentration camps, or eaten when the strarving West inevitably resorts to cannibalism.
But seen as the Puritans were a groups of zealots who felt that the British establishment was too Liberal and open to alien and subversive views, then my answer would have to be yes.
You're right, but the "good things happen to good people" delusion serves as an effective coping mechanism for people that are suffering. Just as it's a good way of cleansing any sense of social responsibility from people that are not.
No fooling, and I think that's what brings many of us here. A good old vent. For any other reason, our opinions would be equally served if we screamed them down a toilet bowl.
I think it's right that a married couple share the same surname. After this it doesn't really matter. My own name comes from my parent's marriage as they both ditched their maiden names when they wedded. Which personally I'm happy about.
You're not going to turn many heads for good or bad reasons.
If looks are important to you then you could do more to make yourself more attractive. If not, date in your own league because the tomboy may be able to take the truth on the chin more like a man does, but they're even more susceptible to foolish romances and tragic heartbreak, more so than the girly girl.
Yes, classic mate-guarding behaviour... say the cynics!
However, seen as this has been a week for slaying evil and believing in hope(in the form of Margaret Thatcher's death), we'll flip the bird to the cynics and call it love.
