I hear you Jac. I asked my opthalmologist ,who incidentally was black, where he came from and he said Grimsby. Fortunately we had a laugh about it as he realised that I wasn't being condescending just interested in him as a person.
His parents are British subjects. Indian born but British citizens. Give it up Ten and stop pot stirring. You cannot change the rules to suit your own agenda.
I'm only going on what has been said about this incident as I wasn't present. I've often asked people where their roots lie and never thought of it as offensive however maybe being a black person with a British citizenship that person just might see things differently.
I'm not colour prejudiced ,have a black relative left over from the 2nd World War raised by his Mother's white husband after he returned from fighting in the Navy and we have never had problems.
I just get sick of self righteous people trying to tell me how I should think Whataboutromance.
I don't wish to get involved in your spat with Jac ,but if someone is born in this country despite their parentage that makes them a British Subject.
I do believe I read somewhere that your own son has a British Father so we have many people of mixed parentage or birthright. Boris Johnson was born in America but gave up his birthright to become a British subject and his heritage is basically Muslim being Turkish.
Never judge a book by it's cover is what we should all bear in mind as we all have red blood whatever our skin colour or birthplace.
The late Queen's lady-in-waiting Lady Susan Hussey has apologised and resigned after she repeatedly asked a black British charity boss where she was "really" from.
A lot happened across the World a few years back Galrads and many countries were involved in trying to rearrange the history books but you cannot change history only learn from it.

Recently I've been putting together Smoothie and of course added Lactose Free Yogurt, Banana and Mango. Some fruit I think are beneficial: Bananas, guavas, cantaloupe, and mango's are examples of fruits higher in potassium. Potassium can help maintain a healthy blood pressure and regulate fluid balance in the body. Oranges and tropical fruits such as mangos are high in folate. This can help the body produce red blood cells. Folate also supports healthy fetal development. Lemons (and limes) High in vitamin C, lemons and their lime green counterparts are fairly sour fruits. They don’t contain much sugar (only a gram or two per lemonTrusted Source or limeTrusted Source) and are the perfect addition to a glass of water to help curb your appetite. Kiwi Fruit are technically considered a berry they are rich in vitamin C and low in sugar. Avocado Avocados are indeed fruits, a

What suits one person may not suit another don't you think. I rarely eat fruit but love my vegetables . My pal has a kidney problem[ Amiloidosis ] and bananas are a no go due to potassium levels as is beetroot. It basically all depends on personal issues as to what one can and cannot eat with regards being good for you.
