This is not a case of age but a condition that requires medical assistance and constant monitoring. There just might have been a miscarriage of justice also.
Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world, whether they are Christians or not. It's a time when family and friends come together and remember the good things they have. People, and especially children, also like Christmas as it's a time when you give and receive presents!
Isn't that a good enough reason if it brings people together.
She says she didn't murder anyone ,the jury convicted her and how many times have we seen a jury proved wrong.
I'm not really sure what happened in this case John but from a medical point of view she really should get proper treatment. Parkinson's is a dreadful disease.
Whether in or out of prison the society is still burdened surely. She would not be transferred to a Nursing Home as that would cost more money. I think she wants to be with family so I cannot see the problem .
Just read about this murder on another website and not sure just what to believe as she apparently suffered a head trauma before this incident which had affected her. Was she involved in the murder or just involved in the cover up apparently under threat
Head traumas can cause many problems in later life as has been apparent here in the U.K. with the onset of Parkinson's in many sports players of late.
Frankly I see no point in keeping her locked away as this puts pressure on the prison staff to care for her and I fail to see how she can be a danger to the public with these conditions. J.M.O.
