I know that I will be accused of cliché...cliché...cliché but for me personality wins every time. Who the hell wants to be in the company of a person that is obsessed with how they look?
Having pride in your appearance is one thing but thinking that it is all that matters is just asinine.
I worked as a care taker for the elderly for many years in New York. I thought that a lot of older people just ended up looking very similar. I would see photos of when they were younger and good looking, yet it was the ones with the nice personalities that I remember. Some of them had very glam looking pics of themselves when they were younger and they were right auld biddies, some of them had very glam looking pics from when they were younger and they were lovely people right up until the end. Not meant to be a generalization but I think that looks fade but your personality remains much the same.
I think that Women sometimes more than men get a bit obsessed about how they look, we cant help it because magazines tell us how we should look...if we are stupid enough to give in to that pressure.
I would much rather spend time in the company of someone who makes me laugh and with whom I can have a conversation than with someone who is hung up on how they look.
I saw an older lady in a shop the other day, she had wrinkles and graying hair, I stood and looked at her and thought...wow, she looks so natural and beautiful. When did it become a crime to grow old?
I myself am too vain to go gray so maybe my entire post is hypocritical

I ditched eircom a long time ago. Couldn't get broadband , they were insistent my line was fine, they then tried to make me uninstall my modem, I had checked my modem and it was not the problem. Figured it out myself in the end lol.
Anyway I had O2 mobile internet for a good while but then the service became very bad. I changed to 3 a couple of weeks ago and I find them really good, way better coverage than o2.
I think Eircom are overpriced. They ring me now and again trying to get me back, I told them they could at least send flowers and chocolates

Met the parents...jeez...They wanted me to make porridge in the mornings..then the Dad said would I mind picking up "Ben Gay" for him... I said..no way am I getting involved in doing anything that his wife would not be comfortable with...turns out Ben Gay was not a gay lover but only a cream for the old joints...Who knew>?? well not me anyway
So that was grand...until the Granny asked me to look at her bunions...
She was a lovely woman...but c'mon
I wont even go into detail about the grandfather....suffice to say...he was well able to tie his own shoes, I used to bend down to tie them....well enough said...

Went to see her on Saturday night, knew nothing about her, the wireless reception is not good in the cave that I have lived in since the 80's

I have a Canon Rebel xs for about 15 years..old film type. Have a 28-80 lens and also a 75-300 lens. Mega camera.
Since I went digital I have an olympus 8mp with 5x optical zoom and have just bought a panasonic lumix fz 38 which has an 18x optical zoom and 12 mp....it is great.... Got my first digital camera ten years ago...was a sony cybershot..only 2mp..lol camera phones are better than that now..

I lived in America for 14 years..well if New York and New Jersey count
Met some of the most amazing people from all walks of life and from all different States... Have to say that the Yanks/Americans that I met were fantastic....
