Having not eaten any junk food in a week; no sugars and limited my caffeine down to 2 cups per day, that while walking through the local mall today, to purchase a gift for my son, that the smells of the fast food places made me feel sick to my stomach!....cool!
Depends on if they are fanatical about their political views. It would be interesting to be able to discuss differing views without resulting to smacking each other upside the head with frying pans; would be better than being with someone who had no views whatsoever and who never voted.
It will affect me, my family in Alaska, my family all over the US and will affect my friends whom I love as family. It has already affected the world and besides my little donation, I wish that there was more I could do to help.
Discussion or debate should allow for agreement and disagreement without name-calling, pandering or being obstinate in ones' "truth."
It doesn't hurt to listen to another person's viewpoint or argument and disagreeing with someone should not be used as an excuse to call one another names or act insulted.
I am not innocent of name-calling or being "stubborn" to my own viewpoint but I hope that in time, I can be objective to what is being discussed or debated.
