Please tell us the "N" in NObama stands for NO. Seems to be some confusion here given that there's a really ugly racial slur that also begins with an "N" I like to think the besy of people and am certain it stands for NO.

Friggen comic relief. Most valid stories, reports, etc will investigate both sides of a view point. But please, continue to judge based on only half the story. Seems the Reps are not the only dirty dealers but I've really known that for a long time.

I suppose it really just proves that McCain had an idea that would help him to lose the 2000 election so he could set himself up for the 2008 election. Hell, he probably even paid Rove to start the rumors.
More than that, he probably even adopted the girl so he would be able to have something they could slander him on. Jesus Opal, do you really believe that McCain wanted to lose the 2000 election so he could have an opportunity to won in 2008?

I see victim of the same nasty politics you are practicing here today. Partisan politics aside, if even acknowledge the idea that McCain was not victimized in the 2000 election then you're a victim of your own bias and have become the very thing you proport to hate in the Republicans.

In short Opal, I don't see anything McCain has done in this particular set of events that you have provided worthy of losing your respect unless ofcourse he never had it in the first place.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems the events listed above make McCain out to be a victim. Perhaps the Bush hug wa a bit much but he's also reached across the aisle to Kennedy and others which is why the far right didn't really care for him. To me that something to respect i.e. a willingness to reach across party lines at the chance of alienating your own party.

The reason I made the comment about smear tactics is because you are prepared to take something like this and smear the man (events taking place 8 years ago) Yet, you make excuse for the likes of Obama in the Rev Wright debacle when he was an active participant rather than a victim.

That's what I meant about your smear tactics.

I don't take the gender jokes from either direction seriously. And I think Hillary by virtue of her celebrity is more vulnerable than most. I don't really see Hillary as trying to be a man but I don't share your views of her being tough or aggressive either. Personally, I think she's just another politician trying to pull the wool over the publics eyes.

My humor is enjoyed by some and not by others. I think it's safe to say that you didn't enjoy this. Seriously don't like to irritate people but that's just the way I am. I don't look at women as inferior to men or viceversa but I do find humor in making fun of the different. I do believe we have become way to sensitive about such things but that's just me.

This may be just a rumor started by those who like to start rumors but I heard it from a friend of a friend who knows someone who once saw the whitehouse from across the street and was sleeping with someone who made deliveries to the kitchen staff who said when the Clintons were in the White house Hillary caused the chief of staff to outlaw the wearing on mini skirts. Seems the rest of the staff were tired of seeing her balls..

I think one can interpret anything they way they want but after considering the sources it's clear to me that Obama is definately not a Muslim.

Let's forget the news for a moment and just think of the firepower this would give Hillary or John if it were true. They don't say such things because they know they would get crushed. They know it's not true and they could never defend such a position.

even the mainstream media has put this theory to bed and rightfully so. The only place you'll see this stuff now are the far right or conspiracy based web sites.

You make some good points but think of the problems that will come when he is unfairly not nominated by his party i.e. if the superdelegates go to Hillary.

If the guy wins the nomination and then the general elections he should be president. His supporters would really have something to riot about if he were somehow denied the democratic nomination or the presidency when he is clearly the frontrunner now in the primaries and can possibly do very well in the general election. If that were to happen I would completely understand the anger even though I do not support Obama being elected.
