I was preparing my Game Day food/snacks for Saturday. With the first game being so early, I knew I wouldn't have time to do it in the morning.
11am game with Auburn vs Louisiana-Monroe game.
Then the 2pm game with Alabama vs Arkansas.
Got my bear on ice, tator chips set aside , lettuce prepared and ready, chili cooked ...and nacho's, tortilla chips, and shredded cheese in place. I know I may have forgotten something, but I will worry about that Saturday.
I've pretty much had good results with Chrome..., but this particular issue was purely a Chrome problem. I went straight to my Firefox browser, and it signed me in with no problem. Go figure! And of course, at the time...I thought it to be an issue with the site I was trying to log in to. So, I felt the need to apologize with them...when I discovered the Chrome's flaw.
Have you ever just had "one of those days"? I know all of you have at one time or another.
Well, yesterday I went to log into one of the online sites that I make an occasional purchase from. It wouldn't let me in, as I tried over and over with login info, and password…still nothing…and as I get older…I notice my patience is not what it used to be (among other things).
So, I sent an e-mail with the following content: I have entered my e-mail address & password over and over with no success! I can't log in...with my info! I'm NOT changing my password...this is not the only time this has happened. I changed my info last time...but I'm NOT going to do it again. This is getting frustrating, to say the least. If this is going to be the way it is every so often...I'll just pay my balance off, surrender my ShopNBC card... and call it quits! ~John Lipscomb~
Well, today with quick reply…they acknowledged my mail to them, concerning my issue. Here is there comment to me:

FINAL REPLY BACK TO THEM:
Thanks for your prompt response message. I apologize for the outburst of frustration in my communication with you yesterday (8/28/12). It was "one of those days"! Nothing was going right, my mail was left at the neighbors, the "meal on wheels" plate was late, the broccoli was cold, the cornbread was soggy, and the bean-juice ran all over into the potatoes and left me with "no lumps"...and if that wasn't enough...found a note from my girlfriend, that she ran off with my best friend, George...now, I'm afraid I may never see HIM again!
Apparently the issue was in the Google Chrome Browser. I was able to log in, by using another browser (Firefox)!
Again, I apologize for the aforementioned reaction on my part at the time, and if I may be so bold as to ask you..."if you see George, have him to write" !
I tried that very thing...I had my age at 125, and I got more scam-mail from 20-30 year olds...than I did to start with... That was a red flag at the beginning, so eventually, I would delete them...and not even waste my time reading.
hahahaha, are we talking "reverse transfer?"... "why, I nev'a herd sich a thang" hahaha
Catch ya later...got to go and cancel those flight plans to Jamaica...on your dollar! See, how nice I am, to include you in my plans? Where else you gonna find a friend of such magnitude?
Morning girl...long time no chat...hope you're doing well. I couldn't help but notice the comment above, and thought to myself..."mmm, now what can I do, to help this well deserving, hard working friend out?" Conclusion: "Transfer your savings over to my bank"... (will send account info later for said transaction). That should shut them up, and allow you the needed solution to all the "red tape" for this issue. I promise to send monthly "spending reports" from whichever Vacation site I might be at at the time. AND...as a bonus... guarantee to send a tiny trinket from said location, w/card of thanks and "wishing you were here", and that you are doing well. Hey, what are friends for? Right? hahahaha
I hope that brought a smile and a smidgin of hope.... Just mess'n with ya...you have a good weekend.... Your friend, ~JOHN~

It looks like no one wants to comment on this subject...so, I will jump in and say my 2cents worth.
I don't think it was right for the gay community to boycott a business, just because the CEO voiced his opinion. What's with that? Are the gays going to dictate what I feel, or how I express what I feel?
If I have a business, and I feel a certain way about something...that doesn't mean I am going to treat my gay customers any different than I would someone else. That would be biting the hand that feeds you...not good business sense. But, if I feel that marriage should be between a man and a woman...then that is MY opinion, and you have yours. Nothing to do with business! If a gay does not want to patronize my business...then, no problem...but don't punish me for what I believe/feel.
OK, off my soapbox now... Everyone have a fun/safe weekend.
Well, I've spent close to 40 years on computers (build/repair), and it has become a "way of life" for me. I'm retired, with with computers still on my mine w/internet interest as well. Basically you could say I was on the internet before the internet was cool!
I really don't think that much, about the time and effort spent on the Net/FB..., now when I find that "special lady" to spend the rest of my life with...I guess I'll divert my attention elsewhere...
Well, not much... I have 3 accounts that I stay logged-in for 18-20 hours a day. Sometimes 24 hours, until I decide to give the computer...then I will reboot, and start all over again.
RE: am I good-looking?
Looks like "ego" padding to me...just saying...my opinion.
