I think they should put the needs of the child (and others who could be affected) above their own beliefs, especially if they are archaic religious beliefs.
If a 74 year old man wants at 18-48 year old woman, I would ignore him and leave him to the scammers. They will have a field-day with him.
As for the area you want to meet someone from, you can specify what your like, but that won't stop others from trying their luck. You cannot block your own area, which in your case is North Americal so anybody from North America can contact you, irrespective of your personal preferences for local men. They can contact you, but you don't have to reply. You have choices too.
I think it was that he was a scammer or maybe just voluntarily deleted his profile. As for which filters work, I would say the regional filter (not distance ) and age group.
When you say " the person was not available for various reasons", could it be that they have deleted or hidden their account, or are they online at the time?
I think there should be mo option to recline seats on a plane. The difference it makes in comfort is negligible and it always causes dissatisfaction. Sharing a cramped space with strangers is difficult enough without adding issues to fight about.
Although people say women in the west should now shut up as they technically have equality, there is still a large pay gap, most senior management are men, most lawmakers are men etc. Plus, even the improvements which have been made have to be spread to more countries
I don't see any point in adding additional hurt to an already hurtful situation. If particular truths don't need to be told, then why hurt the person more than is necessary?
