The dangers of flirting

Flirting on its own is great fun. It makes you feel good, and it makes the flirtee feel appreciated too. However, if you´re obviously flirting with someone while your partner sits, wanting to be with you, your partner will wonder why you choose to spend time with someone else instead of him/her. To make your partner sit alone and just watch while you spend time and energy making someone *else* feel good can hurt your partner greatly.

You´re supposed to be the ´special one´ for your partner, and visa versa. If your partner is feeling neglected, while you´re spending all your time and attention with someone else, that´s going to cause trouble.

It´s one thing if you´re both at a party having fun, and while he talks to some people you´re flirting with others. Flirting is fun, after all! But if you´re somewhere that your partner has never been, and you ´abandon´ him or her to go off and flirt, that´s not very fair. You need to balance the needs of your partner with your own desires to meet new people.

What do you think people?

A tip for people who like to "stare"

They call it the ´predatory stare´ - and someone who is being stared at feels that way. It feels really creepy, and people react very badly to it. Don´t stare at the person you´re interested in - just glance every once in a while, and smile if they see you before looking away. You want them to know you´re interested, not that you´re stalking them.

But some people like stalkers....rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Things to talk about

Talk about what you guys have done in the past and what you guys want to do in the future. And what you guys regret and what you guys want to change.

Come on Guys...

Guys... come on! If you like a girl don't wait for her to give you a "sign"... most girls are waiting for you to go and talk to her. Go up to her and break the ice, ask a stupid question or just ask her for her name.

So what would you say or do to break the ice with a girl you like?

I like Raccoon's as long as they stay out of my trash!!!!!cheers

RE: Touch and caress ...

I think touching your partner is very important a simple touch speaks volumes between partners. Your touch could mean love, security, contentment, attraction, comfort, etc., etc. I have always been a very affectionate person in all areas in my life and this means my kids, family and partner. I believe it is extremely important to incorporate touching and caressing into your relationship, it lets the other person know how much they mean to you and makes them feel wanted, we all want to feel wanted right?

RE: how true are you and can you be true to the one you like alot

As most of you can already tell I speak from my heart and am a very open, honest person. I found from my mistakes that sometimes it is what you don't say that can get you into worse situations than something you did say. Being honest is the only way to be for me.

RE: Proclaiming your Love

B, you are right again. I concur with your assessment of the situation. All to often people are prone to displays of emotion when it should be left private. I don't blame people for wanting to share their happiness, it's only natural. But on the other hand what happens when you do this prematurely and nothing culminates between you and your "love"? Then sometimes there are hurt feelings, outside interference, embarrassment and ridicule. I believe it is best to keep things of this nature between you and the other person and if you feel the need to share it, maybe find another avenue to do so. I am happy for everyone who finds their match and their loves ones and am not trying to rain on their parade but there is something to be said for descretion as well.

RE: DO YOU KNOW HOW TO MEND A BROKEN HEART?????????????????

I don't know how to heal anyone elses broken heart but mine, because I don't know if what works for me will work for anyone else. Time and space is what healed my broken heart and it seems to work. Having a broken heart would suck!!!!!!!

RE: What is the nicest thing someone from CS has said to you, or done for you!

I love all my friends here and am glad to be part of sucha great gang!!!!

RE: my apologies to the regulars in the forums for last nights excursion.

I live in Illinois and it's not officially fall until you bag a skunk........damn it's foul too!!!

RE: my apologies to the regulars in the forums for last nights excursion.

This receipe has been reprinted multiple times on PYR-L and LGD-L. Don't know who to credit for it, but it does work to remove the skunk smell from dogs.

1 qt. Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tsp or so of a liquid soap like Dawn or Palmolive or shampoo.

Mix the soda and soap together and then add the peroxide. Use immediately.

This has no shelflife, since the peroxide/soda activity is important to the
chemical reaction to break down the skunk odor, so it is useless after
storage.

Pour this stuff over the dog and be careful around the eyes.

Take any collars off and soak them too, as reported on the list, this can be
a reservoir for more aromatic reminders.

Rinse the dog well with clean water afterward, so the peroxide doesn't turn
her yellow.

this will work

sorry bout the dog mandoh
