Claayer, I understand about taking the clothes off asap...I got caught the other Saturday morning on the road removing...well, I won't say that, but it made quite a show for the other car...who apparently had never seen a set of those ...but hey, I had been in that monkey suit over 12 hours on the tour bus and those uncomfortable duds were coming off
Don't drink coffee and never have. When I went to my first duty station in the USCG, they told me I'd be drinking it after a while. I proved them wrong We had a soda machine on board the ship and that was where I was getting my caffiene.
Once I got to USCG Air Station Brooklyn NY, I'd keep a coke or two in my helmet bag for those late night SAR flights.
I love your take on life...to be still and enjoy nature...I enjoyed reading your profile recently...a calm woman confident in her life choices...admire your inner witt
There's a Special Gentleman Friend of mine who is no longer on CS of whom this poem would describe I do wish him all the best He is missed by many of the CS ladies
If you're in "ghost mode" hope you see this thread Big Hearted Guy
PS...I'm been telling Earl about the Bible story about Delilah and Sampson ...he's sweating some morning he's gonna wake up without his ponytail I'm such a stinker..but he Wuvs me anyway
Better yet I'll shine Earl's noggin ...you got to know I Love bald men Course E has a short curly ponytail at the base of his noggin But I Love the Feller
Considering August is usually a very warm (ie..hot) month, would an evening get-to-gether be in consideration? Perhaps 4pm until, that way folks who needed to travel back home that night could leave say 9-10pm to get back home safely.
Course some are expecting to stay and they could easily do that. I've threatened Earl he has to be well enough for the trip or I'm tieing him on the hood of the truck like a deer and bringing him anyway. We'll stay in touch and let you know if we can make it.
Kansan sent me your address and per Google maps, we are about 4 hours & 38 min. away...that is without tickle breaks which at my age I'll need a few of those ...so I'm figuring a safe 5 hour drive
Thanks for the info...I was out mowing the grass and just got in the house for a few minutes
In some states they have to be registered and require a motorcycle license.
Here in NC, they are not required to be registered or have a license of any kind to operate. Kind of gives the drunks a way around the laws if the lose their license due to DWI. Ticks me off as I have to register my canoe if I want to place an electric trolling motor on it.
At the moment I'm saving gas by not driving due to being laid up. Hoping the surgery will be real soon so I can get back to normal asap
