A man came to visit his grandparents, and he noticed his grandfather sitting on the porch, in the rocking chair, wearing only a shirt, with nothing on from the waist down. 'Grandpa, what are you doing? Your weenie is out in the wind for everyone to see!' he exclaimed.
The old man looked off in the distance without answering 'Grandpa, what are you doing sitting out here with nothing on below the waist?' he asked again.

The old man slowly looked at him and said, 'Well....last week I sat out here with no shirt on, and I got a stiff neck. This is your grandma's idea.

I agree. When you sign on that dotted line, you do so knowing there is the possibility of going to war. No "if's", "and's" or "but's" about it. You are government property to be used as they see fit.

If someone I knew went AWOL, including my kids, I would turn them in.............in a heartbeat.

Drove to NH to bring the Love of my Life home to NC

Danged Yankee has made me a happy Lady ever since

It took me roughly 21+ hours going up and he & I about 18+ coming home...we came back a better route than he gave me....I just about chose his wonderful brother instead of him when it was his brother that got me safely into the state of NH...but Earl did guide me right to him after the nightmare I endured up to the NH border

I was "nuts" to have driven so far...but my life's all the best with him in it but he still makes me ready to shoot him at times...course I'm perfect...just ask him

Being from New Hampshire, they don't cancel school until there's at least 6 inches of snowfall.
I couldn't believe the way they do it down here. They salt the roads the day before the storm and cancel school for a quarter inch of snowfall.
Made me laugh when they cancel school for that little amount. Maybe us Yankees should teach them how to drive in snow and ice

My younger brother Dan (Dknew) met a woman here as well and moved to Ky from NH to be with her a couple of months ago

1. I had a New Hampshire Congresswoman ask for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window. (On an Airplane!)

Must be from Farmington NH, it's well known (in NH) they interbreed there

Well I've gone & done it now

Planned a Road Trip home for Earl to be with his sons Father's Day Weekend, actually a few days in addition to the weekend

I called his Aunt Diane about camping in her backyard, and she very generously offered her family's camper for accomondations for us while we're there.

I've talked with both his sons and they are excited to hear Dad's coming up, especially since it's Father's Day Weekend and they've not seen him since December 2007, primarily because of finances on our side The economy has hit us hard like it has everyone else

Course I'm going along and will be taking something to do so the boys can have their father all to themselves

Earl doesn't know that I've planned this yet, so this thread will tell him what I've been up to while he's been gone to Wallie World to get some parts to do some repairs on our air conditioning units. As you can all see I like to surprise him just to keep him on his toes

I've called and left a message with Joanie from Maine here on CS, so hopefully she & her son can "hook up" with us. I'm glad all our CS family can be part of me "springing" this on Earl

Oh by the way, when we get back home, it's "Bread & Water" for the next 6 months, so we can pay the bills
