RE: Obama Rocks! Some positive signs in american economy already!

I'll believe there are positive signs of the economy rebounding when I am able to walk into a place and get hired.
I haven't had a job since Dec and am unable to collect unemployment benefits. I left my last job because I was placed with a bunch of cockroaches who refused to speak english when training me. When they spoke to me, it was in Spanish, a language I don't speak or understand.
There should be a prerequisite for being able to understand and speak English before getting a job in the US.

My ex divorced me because she couldn't deal with the fact I had heart disease even tho she claimed irreconcilable differences. I had gone thru a triple by-pass surgery and just as soon as I was back to work, she gave me the boot. I suggested seeing a marriage counsellor, but she didn't want to hear it.

I moved 750 miles (as the crow flies), NH to NC, to get married.

It's 900 someodd miles driving

I was given a pepper plant and had quite a harvest. These peppers weren't much bigger than the erasers you can slip on the end of a pencil.
I chopped up three or four of these, put them in a spagetti sauce and let simmer a whole afternoon. Talk about hot, this sauce burned all the way down and out
After that one sauce, I used those peppers sparingly

Hey, just because I'm short doesn't mean you can call me names.

I believe I mentioned somewhere that I was raised in a home where my parents didn't believe in hitting but we KNEW they had the right to.

As for the parenting classes, don't need them. One is out on his own and the other can't wait to get out of his mothers house away from his step father

Back when I was going thru Aviation Machinist Mate school in the USCG, some of the guys in my class would set up a shoe box full of ping pong balls above the door for the media room in our classroom. The instructor found out about it and let the other instructors know, including the Chief in charge.
They pulled a big one on us by having the chief walk in and announce that the president had declared war on Syria. We were told that the entire air station was closed allowing no one in or out. The school was goimng to be closed and we all would be reassigned to the navy as in time of war, the Coast Guard is part of the Navy.
We were left alone in the classroom talking to each other wondering WTF and if there was anyway to get word out to our families. Some even considered running for it. During this entire time, we didn't realize they were listening to us thru the p.a. system. It was 20 minutes with us sweating before they finally let us off the hook.
We never pulled another practical joke again
