You haven't been here long. Keep at it and like someone else said, become active in the forums.
I didn't do any active searching when I joined the site over three years ago. I jumped right into the forums and after ten months, met my present wife. We've been married since July 24, 07
Don't know how long you've been here but it does take some time to find someone. I was on this site for ten months before meeting the love of my life and I didn't do any real searching. All I did was get active in the forums which is where I met my wife. Have patience young man
I can see keeping religion out of public schools considering they disallowed prayer from schools. I remember the days when we said the Pledge Of Allegiance and had a moment of silence at the beginning of the school day.
Not too long ago, some muslim students were allowed to practice one of their religious holidays in school. They even got other students involved. If we cannot have prayer in school, then they should not have been allowed to do what they did. This happened in a high school within the past couple of years or so.
As for Divine Creator or Darwins Theory, religion was created to keep the masses in line
I have to agree with this. I remember winters back in the 60's and we're not even coming close to having those now. Used to see snow on the ground around Halloween right thru to late March. Back then we didn't have all the industries like now pouring junk into the atmosphere.
Well the economy in NC is so poor right now for the type of job Earl was looking for that he's up in NH seeing if he can get his old job back and then if he can talk me into it....not happening yet...cause NH has already had several feet of snow collectively speaking this winter...but he wants me to join him when & if he can make a go of it...so not so funny as it may sound...us'sens...are doing the long distance relationship thingy again Been There Done That
I'll let you know how it's going from time-to-time
We've have several 50-60+ days lately and I'm yearning to "feel some sand between my toes"...feel the ocean breeze against my skin, and grill some awesome goodies on the ole bbq...anybody else had enough "cabin fever" from the winter blues and is ready for some "FUN IN THE SUN?"
Peaches
PS...some CS member has made my fever go into overdrive with the photo of his "beautiful shoreline" on his profile
Ahhhh... that might be Ken (aka...mbcasey) Shame on you Ken for making me want to play hookey from work and run away for a camping trip in your fair town
