RE: 55mph (88kmph)

Years ago when I was going home after leaving Elizabeth City NC USCG Aviation School, I hit DC during rush hour. It was bumper to bumper and took me about an hour and a half just to get around the city.

Since then, I try to time my trips to avoid rush hour around any cities that may be on my routegrin

RE: Larry Harmon (BOZO) died! 83 years old!

RE: For guys to read, girls will get a laugh.

My hubby & I have already had a little discussion about these words and I told him whenever I use the following words I am probably lying, not intentional but because I am trying to avoid an argument with him:

Nothing
Fine
Don't worry about it, I've got it
It's okay
No I don't need your help

And any body language to include sighs and raised eyebrows that are not followed by a smile or a wink are not good either

I use the following words very often, but seldom hear them myself unless I solicite for them from him:

I appreciate you
Thank you for taking care of that for me

Seems guys are "clueless" that girls like to be appreciated toodoh

So I guess one way to make this long story short is to say: Guys supposedly talk logical and mean what they sayprofessor and girls say one thing and really mean another, almost like a game for the poor fellers to have to figure outconversing

Thanks for sharing these wordshead banger

RE: Hard to Believe People Can Be This Cold and Callous in a Hospital.......

I can't imagine the coldness and sheer amount of callousness that it would have to take for this to happen...I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that this was a psychiatric patient....almost like they don't deserve the same care as other people?????????[/quote]

Considering it was in NY, I can imagine it. I have heard of instances where people either don't give damn or just don't want to get involved.

RE: KURAN is,whic ALLAH have revealad,in order that you bring out mankind from darknesses into light

I don't believe in God myself and you're sure as hell not going to get me to believe in your Allah.

I worked with a "born again Christain" once, actually he was my foreman. He was always playing gospel music and preaching to us during work hours. It got to a point where I told him to take his belief, bend over and stuff it someplace.

I'll be nice with you though, keep your religion to yourself. As far as I'm concerned, it's all a bunch of garbage when it's used to turn those in your part of the world into murderers of innocent men, women and children.

RE: BE CAREFUL ON THE ROAD

I had someone almost hit me the other day. I saw them backing out of their driveway, so I moved over into the center of the road anticipating any possible "incident". They never saw me and came within two feet of hitting me.

They say that most accidents happen within a mile of home. Well, this was a neighbor across the street from from our home. I was more angry than scared as they never looked or stopped and I was riding Shelia's motorcycle.sigh

RE: I have to share this with you.....

This is a similar way in which I journal my prayers and I keep them in my computer journaled. Perhaps someday they will also be a blessing to my loved ones because I have also chosen not to share with anyone that I've done this. It's very private and I pour out my inner most prayers to the Lord in my special journal. Jesus listens to our prayers and I believe answers everyone of our prayers even though He may not answer them in the way that I would like or expect.

Court Rules In Favor Of 2nd Amendment Gun Right

"Today, President Bush's radical Supreme Court justices put rigid ideology ahead of the safety of communities in New Jersey and across the country. This decision illustrates why I have strongly opposed extremist judicial nominees and will continue to do so in the future."
- Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J.

I'm sure there are others such as the Kennedy's who are just as unhappy about this ruling but I don't give a damn rolling on the floor laughing

Court Rules In Favor Of 2nd Amendment Gun Right

Court says individuals have right to own guns
Decision is justices' first major pronouncement on gun rights in U.S. history

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Americans have a right to own guns for self-defense and hunting, the justices' first major pronouncement on gun rights in U.S. history.

The court's 5-4 ruling struck down the District of Columbia's 32-year-old ban on handguns as incompatible with gun rights under the Second Amendment. The decision went further than even the Bush administration wanted, but probably leaves most firearms laws intact.

RE: I Hit A Deer

RE: I Hit A Deer

Years ago I worked at a place doing auto recon. We had an Isuzu Trooper come in for the works, wash and wax plus interior. Come find out that the thing had hit a moose, totaling the entire front end. They had it repaired from the nose to the windshield posts.

I've come close to hitting deer before. The last time was with a Saturn wagon and got within about 3 feet of it before it made another jump. The way the nose of those cars slope down, I thought for sure that deer was going to come thru the windshield.

If I ever do hit a deer, seriously injuring it, one way or another I'm going to put it out of it's misery and load it into the vehicle...............VENISON!!!!!!grin

Keep trying, relax, and just let go. Stop thinking and just feel.

That doesn't help either if you have a man who doesn't know what he's doing...and he's not teachable...cause as a man he thinks he know everything...and thinks the problem is all yours....ok...ok...TMI..TMI, but it's one of those buttons for me when a man fails and thinks it's the woman failingvery mad
